Great trail for hiking! We did the homestead trail and extension and it took us a bit less than 2 hours.

There was parking and washroom facilities available (though we did not use the washrooms so cannot comment on their state)

Overall, would definitely come again and try one of the other trails.

3 entrances, main entrance off the 15th Line has washrooms and the Reagan House. Beautiful scenic trail off this entrance, north trail has some steeper inclines, south entrance is thicker and swampier, but all are beautiful and serene.

Came here on a rainy day and still had lots of fun. Greta place for a short hike with decent views. Good tree covers from rain or sun, making it a great hike in almost any weather. I believe most of the hike is bikeable. Note that there are multiple entrances

Did the beginner trail since it was our first time there. The lookout tower near the end had a horribly obstructed view of Simcoe. Trees have grown too tall to actually see anything. Otherwise it is a nice place and we plan on going back to try out the other trails.

Overall, not a bad place to go for a hike. Our party had some trouble identifying the "scenic lookouts" identified in the map, as many of them appeared to be just spots next to closed woods with tall grass. While there were a few beautiful spots, if you're looking for a scenic getaway kind of trail there should be better options out there, as a good part of the trail was next to local roads so you can hear car noises in the background.

There are washrooms in the parking lot, which is convenient. They were very well maintained when we went there.

We love this trail and go often, but after the ice storm, it was so hard to walk it with the kids and dog

we parked next to an old log home per Google's directions. there were a few other vehicles there, but I was really unclear how we kept coming across so many different people on our walk! turns out there are three different parking lots from which you can start your walk. the trail was well obscured by the leaves so it was tough to pick it out correctly. there are a number of complementary trails not listed on all trails (so it is easy to amble "off trail" without realizing it). it was a warm, sunny fall day and the weather was just right for a slow, but steady drop of leaves. My son caught a bunch, as did I.

we met quite a few dogs and quite a lot of careless owners whose unhelpful call of "my dog is friendly!" repeatedly had to be met with "my dog isn't!". other than that, a really clean, well spaced trail. there are some steeps to climb/descend and there are hazards like big rocks/roots over the trail, so it wouldn't be an easy trail for everyone. for the able bodied, it was very easy and absolutely lovely. I'd like to see it in winter.

My family and I have been coming here for years. We love how clearly marked and diverse the trails are. My only complaint is that everyone else has discovered how much fun it is to hike in these woods therefore you are bound to run into lots of people.
