Bon tour guidé. Guide très sympathique. L'immeuble a toutefois besoin d'une bonne restauration tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Les pièces étaient aussi sombres.

Some places just photograph beautifully. Parkwood Estate is one of them. The light, the architecture, the way the gardens move with the seasons, it all just works. I often photograph weddings here, and every time, I find something new. It’s in the heart of Oshawa, but you’d never know it. The place feels like it belongs to another time.

The staff here are incredible, always prepared, always kind. They strike the perfect balance of being relaxed while keeping everything running smoothly. Whether you’re saying ‘I do’ outside on the manicured lawns or exploring the elegant interiors, there’s no shortage of breathtaking spaces. I highly recommend booking time inside, the old-world elegance is a completely different experience from the gardens, and it makes for some of my favourite wedding photos.

Even with Parkwood being open to the public, it’s spacious enough that you hardly notice guests wandering the grounds. And if rain rolls in, there are plenty of covered spots/ trees. Plus, there are lots of nice reception venues in Oshawa nearby, it’s an easy choice for couples wanting a beautiful and stress-free wedding day.

I recently moved 10 minutes away and have always wanted to visit this estate. When I finally got the chance to go, there was a wedding taking place, so we didn't have access inside. However, the garden was stunning, and the best part was that there was free access and free parking. It was definitely worth the visit.

The most amazing experience! We had the best tour guide, Jeffrey!!!! He was funny, so knowledge, patient and very comfortable to be around with.

Usually, the tour is 1 hour in duration, but Jeffrey gave us around 2 hours tour... 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 We were together with my elderly Ukrainian mom who doesn't speak English, so, when I was interpreting for her, Jeffrey was so patient and understanding, it's just melted our hearts.

The whole tour was on the 1st floor, and it was fantastic! I took so many wonderful pictures. If my daughter would decide to get married one day, or my son, this is the place I would want them to book.

Rooms are filled with a different energy. It's so cozy, inviting, natural!

Another thing is that the personnel of the museum did amazing job making settings and providing all the tiny details so beautifully that it took our breaths away.

Fantastic place. We'll be going for more excursions to other floors. And very soon as that place is magnificent.
