Had an amazing family fishing trip to Indian Lake with True North Airways late September 2023.

It was a thrill to fly in the iconic Canadian DeHavilland Beaver with our friendly pilot Arnie. Late September treated us to some emerging Fall colours from the air.

Camp was comfortable and well equipped. It was nice to have a sauna to warm up after swimming since the lakewater was a fresh temperature.

A few minor hiccups were swiftly resolved. Stellar customer service and everyone at True North Airways was a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to booking future adventures. Highly recommend.

It’s my first time to go fly-in fishing with my boyfriend ( it’s his 5th ), and i can say that we had a very great experience and adventure at Alton Lake and Ian made sure of that. Drew, the pilot, was also very helpful and courteous and flew us back and forth very smoothly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this place for adventures and at the same time a way of taking a break from the busyness of life. A time to enjoy the calmness and the beauty of nature. Oh, did i say it’s also a great place to fish? You bet, it is.

I booked a scenic floatplane tour on our honeymoon at the cottage and Iain picked us up from the dock, took us on an amazing tour (with our dog!) and gave us a nice bottle of wine to enjoy in the afternoon after our flight! Michelle was amazing in setting this up for us very last minute. I couldn’t recommend this company more, I’m truly blown away, I would absolutely love to do it again!! Thank you guys!!

Michelle (owner) and Greg (pilot) @TrueNorthAirways are my heroes!! After biting off more than we could chew, my husband and I found ourselves at the halfway point of the Kilarney Cloche trail when my already bad knee gave out. With the help of my guardian angel of a sister, she reached out to TNA, and Michelle called back at 6am, to get us out. We were airborne by 2pm that afternoon. Pricing was shockingly affordable (considering what OPP would have charged which was what the Park Warden recommended), Michelle and my sister arranged the delivery of a bottle of wine, AND the staff drove us to a pub to grab a bite to eat AND THEN picked us up. Seriously, the nicest humans ever!!! I can not thank TNA enough for the amazing service and kindness. Everyone planning a hike up north should have them on speed dial. True life saviors!!!

We’ve used True North Airways to fly into our camp a number of times over the past two years. We can’t say enough good things about them. They are a joy to deal with. They are professional, accommodating, considerate and simply nice people. Highly recommended.

While I haven't flown from True North Airways, simply being there by the lake, watching the airplanes come and go, is a delightful experience in itself. The scenic beauty combined with the sight of the aircraft adds a unique charm to the visit.
