I generally have not had the greatest experience at hospitals, nurses are over worked, over stressed and easily take it out on the patients. Completely opposite experience here as staff were so caring, thoughtful, and patient. Every single person I spoke to was absolutely wonderful.
Do expect incredibly long wait times for every aspect.

The families of Vera Locke Would like to think the staff on fourth floor continuing care for all of their love and support that they gave Vera Locke during her five months stay. She loved all of the staff and she felt the love back. She was sorry to have to go to Copper terrace, but she found that she Received the same care there, but still considered the hospital staff family. Thank you everyone and know that you are appreciated.

During a snowstorm I was involved in a MVC and brought in by ambulance at shift change. A Nurse by the name of Mandy W was assigned to me. CKHA should be very proud of having her as a staff member. I listened to how she talked to and cared for her patients. Even the ones that weren’t cooperating talking to them in a warm, stern but still kind gentle voice and sometimes jokingly. She had a great bedside manner and is my favourite nurse I’ve ever had in my entire life. Mandy made sure everyone was as comfortable as possible. Mandy will definitely go far in her career! Thanks again to all the staff and Dr Hastings that I dealt with on a crazy busy night!

My mom’s experience. It was bad enough that she had to go in the first place but to have people, nurse and security talked about my mom when it was already embarrassing for her, they took the time to do that. I am not impressed with it at all. And this is not the first time I have experienced and witness this. The People who work there should be more professional than that. Especially when it is a hospital. They say they weren’t take any mess from people who would do that to them, it should also be vice versa. Lack of professionalism by nurse and security. My mom and I actually went back into my vehicle to go home. But while I was driving, she was crying. She had pain and everything that is going on and to have to hear the rudeness while she’s going through. It ticks me off.

My husband was in for a day surgery procedure. We had the best care by Jeannette before and after the surgery. She was awesome. Took great care of my husband's needs, explained everything thoroughly and made sure we had all the home care supplies we needed. She had such a nice manner about her. The doctor doing the procedure saw us before and after the surgery he was really nice and explained everything that was going to happen. He also phoned my husband at home to see how he was feeling. A sincere thank you to Jeannette in day surgery and also Dr. Langley for the their excellent care and compassion. It was a great experience at the hospital, everyone we saw that day was exceptional. A huge thank you to everyone.

I was told I was going to be a long time, because I was a walk in and clinics needed to be done, with one X-ray unit in operation.
I can't remember for sure, but I believe I was taking in at 11:45 am and just after 1:00 pm x-rays were complete. Staff were nice, while very busy. It was a positive experience.
We'll see how the X-rays turn out when my clinic reviews the report.

I loved it <33 Went there today and they were all so sweet, I loved the blonde short woman who called me 'hun'. she was so sweet! And the tall buff man, x-ray lady and the nightworkers!

Out town specialist set scan as urgent. Diagnostic services complained to doctor that we did not come to appointment they were supposed call us with the time of appointment. No one called from hospital even though we call two times in December
So in the end they had time to call the specialist in London to complain about an appointment time that we were nit aware of because no called. We are a local call and @10 minutes from the hospital. What a joke. I gave this place a one because the system would not allow me to give zero.
