It's always fun when I bring my kid there. The pools are great, as well as the swim classes. The library that is in the same building is well equipped and has a friendly staff. They have multiple activities for people of all ages! I love it there!

We do our toddler’s swimming lesson here. Great temperature for the pool it’s super warm on the kids pool. Good locker spots. Lots of parking.
Very Small waiting /watching area for the parents.
You’d have to go through the showers to get into the pool itself so be prepared to be wet.
Attentive staff. 🙂 there’s also drop in and a public library which is nice

Parking is terrible for young families going to the pool. The change over seems to be too tight between lessons and people coming and going. More private change rooms in the family change room need a safer places for babies to lie down while parent is getting ready for the lesson. No place to leave an infant car seat. Friendly teaching staff, nice warm water for babies.

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN WEST END! Last week I came here swimming and this pole fell over and when I picked it up, it SMASHED my head and instantly gave me the goose egg (photo shown) I had to go to the hospital to make sure I didn’t have a concussion. I called west end and asked them to kindly remove this pole as it can be a danger to all the kids coming here, they said they removed it but not even a week later, I came back and it was there. When I asked the staff she laughed and said “it must have been the full time staff”. Very displeased with the lack of respect they have for people’s safety. They could make this sign so much safer for everyone but instead they are being lazy and putting it back. Very disrespectful!!!!

Parking can be a nightmare if there's a game going on. We usually just go for the pool. The pool itself is fine, but the family change room is freezing, and the showers are terrible. Showers were bad to begin with, but they recently changed them to even lower
flow. It's barely a dribble now, making it impossible to get soap and shampoo out of your hair.

This rec. center has been AWESOME.... Thankfully everyone has been super kind with my kid every time we've gone (he's SUPER active.... And though it's interesting to try to wrangle him up to stand still, everyone has been super-understanding)... And he has a BLAST! I think my favorite part is that this center has a pool, 2 (!) skating rinks, a library, AND a firehall (small, but still technically a part of the building)

And there's a path in the grass both to the neighboring Zehrs, and Costco across the road..... Worth checking out ☺️

We visited the centre to see our wonderful Guelph Fire Department have a kids day with a fire safety talk and display, it was awesome!
