Great location for the bus terminal. Always clean, garbages are never overflowing, people are friendly and the landscape is beautiful. I have never used the actual station, but have been here to catch a bus many times.

Next to no parking. Crazy lineups of vehicles picking up passengers. Building is rarely open. I recognize why this is the case but believe it needs to figure out a way to do so for the sake of the general public, especially in winter months.

not sure what’s the deal here, or what really “Guelph Central Station” constitutes? on this place you will find a building: a VIA Train Station - closed and empty when I arrived on Saturday morning. I’ve read on their website that the stations opens only half and hour before and after a train arrives. There are GO bus platforms outside, but it doesn’t look like GO transit has a building anywhere, for passengers to wait or use washrooms. Too bad that VIA doesn’t share the building with GO - it looks like there is a comfortable waiting area inside (as I noticed through the closed doors) and a washroom. Maybe I missed something and there is another building somewhere that I couldn’t find? anyways, it might be rather unpleasant to wait for a bus there when it’s really cold and it rains or snows.

Good spot for a bus depot.
However the is no access to public washroom. You need a code.

This place was sorta ok. I arrived here quite by accident thinking i reached the end of the kitchener line.. dern you go train! anyhow I get off here..not realizing i was not in kitchener.. so that was my mindset.. ohhhh kitchener loooks totallly different at nite.. even tho there was some signage clearly stating guelph around this area.. in fact just walking across the street from the via rail stn you get the whole wide red guelph sign.. so yeah big red flag in other words... not in kitchener. anyhow.. so im dancing around this part after midnight cause i toook the last train outta union.. it was a cold area made warm care of the numerous bus shelters right here. plus lots of lighting. and across the street a convenience store...closed but just in case for future trips. overall my snapshot of guelph was pretty kewl..and it started off right here.. with a bar across da street too!

Easy to find your bus. Could have better routes and better pricing and better timing... But the dt stop itself is just fine. A few of those propane heaters for the winter at the hospital (busiest buses) would be a really nice thing. Chain them down ... And keep em full of gas and warmth run them at peak hours only ... Something like that. That would be great
