How this company got the contract to handle school routes in Guelph is beyond me. If you see the switzer-CARTY logo on a bus picking up your children, expect late bus times, minimal communication with parents, LATE communication with parents (Notifications via email for late busses after waiting an hour already), and inconsistent staff. We called the school to see why our bus was an hour late during winter cold, only to find the school "Thought they were already here". Meanwhile a bus stop with 6-8 children has been waiting for pickup. Meaning somewhere along the line the drivers and company didn't communicate with the proper people. At this point relying on a Switzer-CARTY bus isn't worth the hassle, if you can might as well drive your kiddo to school.

Thank you thank you thank Switzer-Carty for saving me today! I had received the invoice and didn’t notice that the date was wrong. So I had parents and 12 - 16 year old soccer team waiting for a bus to take us to Windsor (from Toronto) for a soccer game. Realizing my mistake, I called Switzer and they did me a HUGE favor and found me a driver and bus - arriving within the hour.

You saved me so much, thank you again! We would have had very tired and grouchy parents who had to do a last minute 7 hour trip in a day. I am absolutely amazed and thank all the higher powers for making this work for us!!!!

Switzercarty bus 126 stops on Victoria road everyday and causes a serious amount of traffic. 3-7 minute wait times for a couple kids to get on the bus, when a neighborhood with very little cars is adjacent. I don’t understand.

Had them for a wedding in Guelph and everything went pretty seamlessly. Mirela was great to work with.

One hiccup is that they had to change the pick up location last minute which could have caused confusion had I not asked a guest to coordinate the crowd for me.

We've had a terrible start to the school year with this bus company!
Either the bus is chronically late on a daily basis both in the morning and the afternoon by 30-45 minutes or it doesn't come at all. THE WORST PART IS THAT WE WILL GET NOTIFICATION E-MAILS 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED ARRIVAL AND PICKUP! If you're short on drivers, then let us know as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements. You can't expect people to drop everything and change their schedule on the fly, especially when you have little kids involved. You should know ahead of time that you don't have drivers showing up for work, so show the same curtesy to the people that you are working for: the kids and their families.
Called Mike and left a message. Hopefully you'll get back to me so we can address this ongoing issue.

Always late, can’t keep employees, can’t keep a simple route. Will have you continually guessing for pick up times, locations and drop offs. This company should be shut down and removed from any school system

I encountered one of your "School Purpose Vans", the driver who was an elderly man was speeding and racing drivers on Wellington St E. He also proceeded to brake check when vehicles would come behind him. This is careless/dangerous driving, I would never want any child to be in a vehicle with this person!

I reported this issue with the company and provided the license plate of the vehicle. I have yet to receive any response.

Would be nice if driver didn't proceed through stop sign when a cyclist on cross street had the right of way. Cyclist had to break to avoid collision. Tried calling to complain, seems no one is there to answer the phone, no email contact, not sure how you're supposed to get a hold of anyone.
