If you are waiting for go train at Guelph central go, then stand at starting because only the first 5 carts open out of the 10 carts train and be noted only for just 5 secs maximum. Myself and many other people standing there missed the train because the behind carts didn't open. Also there is no announcement or signage or any staff. So if you are waiting stand at the start near the bus terminal side. It might be because of the current construction there but people wouldn't know that the behind carts don't open if there is no information provided before head. Hope this helps.

All day service to Union, BOOM, just what Guelph needs. 1 hour, 20 minutes if you choose the most direct train. Several downtown parking options, with good walkability to the station. Clearly marked entry & exit signs, well salted side walks. Plus that touch of history in the iconic train station itself.

It is -15 outside with minimal shelter and the heated building provided for waiting is not open. Multiple Guelph transit employees are going in and out but will not let public in and we have to stand in the small sheltered stairs freezing. On cold days like this the building should be open. Unacceptable conditions.

11.19 am bus from Brampton to Guelph. Driver blocked the two front seats with personal bags. Why?.same driver took 2 cigarette breaks between Brampton an Georgetown

Guelph Central GO is part of Guelph Central - I love this place. Do you know why?

- because it is a central hub for three modes of transportation from Guelph:
1. The local public transit buses converge here every thirty minutes to spread across Guelph
2. The inter city transit buses leave from here frequently such as GO buses and even GOST buses
3. GO trains leave the local railway station also here and also VIA trains

Shop till you drop comes true from this place for shopaholics or window shoppers or sight seers.

I take 29 Square One GO double decker bus to go to Square One shopping centre in Mississauga and from there to Yorkdale shopping centre in Toronto or to Union station and shop at Eaton centre in down town Toronto.

I take 33 York Mills Go bus to shop at any number of shopping centers along the way in Georgetown or Brampton and reach Yorkdale shopping centre in Toronto.

I take the GOST bus to visit friends in Owen Sound and area

I enjoy the view of the cathedral towers and meditating while transferring between buses
and the different transistor buses.

The large flower planters in Guelph central are delightful in late summer while waiting for the bus.

Guelph Central GO is a great place to stop at if you are going through Guelph. Welcome to the Royal City of Guelph , a city of higher learning and culture.

Lots of busses stop here. Make sure you are standing in the right place as crossing the lanes can be tricky. Each stop has a board mentioning which busses will stop there. I boarded on Go Bus which has their designated stop location marked with their logo.

No employees to answer questions, or sell tickets.
Ticket machines that replaced the employees are frequently out of order after which the employees that are ON the train, hand out fines to riders unable to purchase a ticket.
-"GO Transit" seems to be getting rid of jobs in a province that claims to be creating them.
Overall, I'm not impressed by the lack of attention to the upkeep of their "service".
To be clear, they don't deserve the 'one star' that was required to post this review.

I just wanted to write a review complimenting the driver operating the 29 Guelph/Mississauga last night. He was so kind to me after I got on the bus going the wrong direction and ended up in Guelph, not Toronto. It made a truly horrible evening a little better. I appreciate you sir! Thank you very much.
