Nous avons passé un week-end prolongé dans un chaleureux chalet aux chambres confortables et spacieuses, avec un très joli salon donnant sur le lac gelé et recouvert de neige. Un bon feu de bois nous attendait, donnant tout son aspect féérique à notre séjour.||||L'auberge est facile à atteindre en voiture et bien située en bordure du lac, le prêt de matériel (nous avons utilisé et les skis de fonds, et les raquettes) permet de profiter à fond de la nature environnante, et les amateurs pourront s'adonner aux joies du scooter des neiges ou des promenades en chien de traineau.||||Le couvert est lui plus qu'abondant. Petits déjeuners très copieux, diners gastronomiques. Nous nous sommes satisfaits des vins de la maison, très agréables à boire. Les tables bien espacées permettent de profiter d'une intimité tranquille pendant les repas. Le grand salon adossé à la salle à manger est confortable pour un apéritif ou un café, ou encore une partie de billard quand il fait trop froid ou trop humide...||||Seul bémol, la difficulté d'obtenir une connexion Wifi fonctionnelle pendant notre séjour, ce qui nous a forcé à être "un peu plus en vacances" que nous ne le désirions. Mais bon... au final tout cela avait relativement peu d'importance.

Beautiful, cozy, well-appointed inn right on the water with everything you need to have a relaxing and fun stay. We came to Haliburton for dog sledding (a must try) and chose to stay at Bonnie View - we will definitely be coming back again. From check-in to check-out everything was lovely. We met the owner who was super friendly and kind and she shared the history of the inn with us which was very cool. The room had a fireplace, a beautiful view of the lake (which had been cleared in an area for shinny), there were sleds so you could slide down the hill and a large fire pit outside to cozy up to after a nice walk in snowshoes across the lake to ice fish. One of my favourite weekends in recent memory. Can't wait to visit in the summer to try the beach volleyball court and Dockside restaurant!

This was our second visit to Bonnie View and we were quite looking forward to re-creating our earlier experience. Our previous visit was also in the winter so we knew what to expect. We found our room to be quite dated and tired. If you like a firm mattress with a definite hump in the middle and an extra soft pillow, you’ll be in luck - unfortunately that is not my preference. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit on being both too deep and too short. We ended up using all of the extra pillows from the bed as support to sit on the couch. The new heat pump heaters did an excellent job of warming the room, but we still found it quite draughty in the sitting area. A lot of noise carried through to our unit from the unit above us. No on site dining options this time of year so we had to leave the resort for each meal, which we knew in advance going there, but was still somewhat of an inconvenience. Previously we had been able to dine in the dining room however, this time it was booked for private Christmas parties both nights that we were there and not open to guests. Overall value for cost was disappointing. On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room came with all of the extras you would expect including a tea kettle, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, etc.

This is a really nice, friendly, clean facility located in the Kawarthas. It is near to Minden and Haliburton. The lodge is the very essence of an "up north" family run lodge. The staff and service are great, meals and drinks and very good and the owner takes a personal interest in your stay. They have done many improvements and updating and the rooms are almost like new, they are clean and well cared for. They have a really nice clientel- we enjoyed meeting so many nice guests and enjoying our time there. They also have many activities for kids- large floating slides and lots of toys for everyone. The beach is really nice sandy and clean- and the views are beautiful. They have special nightly entertainment- loved the bingo and outdoor rock concert!!

We arrived unexpectedly at 7pm after being horrified at the conditions of the cabin we had booked at another location. The staff found us a room and arranged for us to move to a cabin the next day quickly and efficiently and with a big smile. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable. All the staff were helpful and a pleasure to interact with. Full marks all round. The owner/manager, Ryan, made everything flow smoothly and was the very best advertisment we have ever encountered

Wonderful location right on the lake. The bar and restaurant are lovely. Our room was a huge disappointment - the tub side was hanging off with dust bunnies visible to the side, the smallest shower I've ever encountered with grubby/moldy grout in the tile, especially at floor level., TV was black & white (!) though that was resolved ... and that's the other side of things. The staff were just superb at handling our disappointment - terrific - thank you.

We just finished off our annual sales meetings over 3 days at Bonnie View Inn. We can't say enough great things about the venue and the team! Kayla was instrumental in making sure our team of 12 were taken care of from beginning to end! Rooms, Food, meeting room and service were all top notch! From our team to yours, thank you so much!
