Easily the best place I've stayed in on the island. Lily is super accommodating and makes amazing breakfast. The rates are very reasonable compared to almost every other accommodation on sunshine coast, and the hot tub alone pretty much makes it worth it. On top of that, there are amazing hikes within minutes drive from the retreat, so if your goal for this trip was to enjoy nature and stuff, you can literally just head straight to the retreat and spend the day or two hiking in the vicinity without having to do a lot of extra driving along the coast.

Lili and Rio were wonderful hosts! Super accommodating and friendly. Our room and bathroom were immaculate, very clean and cozy. So refreshing to have a traditional style B&B. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Absolute top of the line hospitality!
Me and my girlfriend travelled alone for the first time together not knowing what to expect, but after meeting Lili and Rio, all of our worries went away.
Upon arriving, Rio kindly took our bags upstairs and tidied up our room very nicely.
Lili gave us a tour of the amazing interior, shared living spaces and kitchen, and our upper level suite. We awed at the breathtaking view from our balcony and windows while Lili told us about all the other amazing features of the 3.25 acre property.
Every morning Lili cooked us an amazing (instagram worthy) breakfast and we got to hang out with her very cute puppy, Pixie. As we did not know much about the surrounding area, Lili gave us the best recommendations on places to visit and activities to do. She recommended visiting Hidden Groves, a truly magical forest walk, which is walking distance from the property. She also recommended renting a Kayak from Pedals & Paddles, about a 2 minute drive from the property, which brought us on an incredible journey up the Sechelt Inlet.
The outdoor shared hot tub is very spacious and the jets are super relaxing, a great way to unwind at the end of the day. We also had an extraordinary in-suite jacuzzi tub which was tranquilizing.
I don’t think you can find a better experience for a getaway in the greater Vancouver area, and at a great price! My only wish is that we spent more time there. We cannot wait to return!

The location and accommodations were perfect for a quiet get away. Sitting in the hot tub and looking at the stars was magical. The bath tub was deep enough to scuba dive in 😀. Breakfasts were so good. The amazing hosts spoiled me for the time I was there. I can't wait to go back!

We loved our short getaway. The location is perfect, only a 7 minute drive into town and just steps away from the Hidden Grove Trails. The B&B is completely secluded in the serenity of lush forest. The pool and hot tub are nice amenities which we didn't get to use because of the cold rainy weather. The rooms are appointed very nicely and the bed was super comfortable. We were able to use the fully equipped kitchen which was a nice thing to have. Lili is super nice. We would definitely return to this place!

Had a last minute one night stay because of issues at our other hotel, and my family and I were so impressed and happy with Davis Brook Retreat B&B. I've stayed at various hotels and airbnbs across the world, and this was by far, hands down, one of the most lovely places I've stayed at. You cannot beat the scenery and how welcoming and relaxing it is. Recommending it to all my friends who want to visit the Sunshine coast!

Enjoyed a fantastic 1 night couples getaway at Davis Brook Retreat last week on a 1 day trip to the Sunshine Coast. The house is beautiful, it was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is stunning and short walks can be taken into the forrest and ravine. We happened to be the only guests this late in the season, so it was very peaceful. I really enjoyed meeting our host Lili who prepared a fantastic breakfast and gave us tips for a dinner spot and hikes. I enjoyed everything about this stay and hope to come back with a group of friend for a yoga retreat in the future.

We were there for 2 nights. I was disappointed. The place is nice with a lot of potential, but very expensive for what you get. Their check-in time is later than the standard of the industry and the check out is earlier. That’s fine… except that after receiving a generic welcome text in the morning with the information of those time, I then got a voicemail and 2 texts pressing me to confirm the hour of our arrival. It gave a very anxious vibe. Then, they welcome us with a full sheet of rules you need to sign. (Like not permitted to walk barefoot outside from your room to the pool area)
I did not feel comfortable using the place.
The provided breakfast is at a specific time, 8:30, and it nothing fancy, more like a continental breakfast and coffee isn’t available until then. Thankfully I had my personal shampoo with me and a small soap "just in case” as travelling is part of my job, which turn out to be very useful because only hand soap is provided in the bathroom.
I will definitely not return.
