Nous avons logé 3 nuits dans un appartement appartenant à des propriétaires. Le style était vieillot mais sinon, c’était parfait : matériel, propreté, confort des lits, chauffage, salle de bain. L’accès skis aux pieds était très agréable.

We loved our stay at Vance Creek! We stayed for 6 nights in room 310 and it was perfect in every way. The full kitchen was well equipped, the living room was spacious, and the bedroom had 2 queen beds. There was lots of storage space. The building also has an outdoor hot tub.||The building is in the centre of Silver Star village and super convenient. My son was literally able to step out the front door to meet his ski instructor each day. The Black Pine is in the building off the lobby and Bugaboos Bakery is just downstairs.||All staff members we met were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay at Vance Creek! Didn't know that every restaurant was closed for May long weekend. Had only booked a 2 bed unit. When the manager Spencer heard our predicament he immediately gave us a large unit with full kitchen for the same price. What a great guy definitely will be back. Good location.

We had a good stay at Vance Creek in Silver Star. The accommodation was very clean, and the housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything tidy and well-maintained, which we really appreciated.||The location is just outside the main village, so it’s not right in the center of the action, but still convenient. The ski-in/ski-out access made it easy to get on the slopes without hassle, which was a big plus. While it’s a short walk to the restaurants and shops, it’s still a great option for those looking for a quieter spot with easy access to skiing.||Overall, a solid choice for a stay at Silver Star!

Family and I stayed for four nights in January 2025. Located right in the village and in close proximity to everything you need to enjoy the mountain (restaurants, shopping, convenience store, ski and board shop, candy store, coffee/bakery). Room had bunk bed for kids, and separate room for us with great view of the village. Snow covered rooftop with hot tub was amazing.

Staff we're amazing and very genuine down-to-earth people. First time visiting Silver Star and we will definitely be back every year!

A great stay! Right in the village, close to everything and only a short ski over to the main lifts. Great pillows and mattress led to a comfortable night sleep. Loved the use of the space within the unit as well. Only thing we would have liked to see improved would be the water pressure.

Great kitchenette suite for a midweek ski holiday for a couple . Vance Creek Hotel has refurbished suites which provided us a good base for 4 days downhill and nordic skiiing . We had everything we needed to enjoy cooking our meals in our suite - 3 counter bar stools. One suite would be adequate for maximum 3 people privacy as bedroom has 2 queen beds and pullout bed couch . We liked walking around the Village bars restaurants apres ski . Dishwasher coffe microwave stove full refrigerator and access to outdoor hot tub . Great place when you don’t have a large group to rent one of the BIG houses on the hill. I’d definitely return . We came on a ski vacation. I would only rate the hotel as "Okay". If you came here for something other than skiing, you might give it a higher rating. ||In general, the hotel is okay. Decor is a little dated. Staff are quite helpful and friendly. And you are right on the hill and about 5 - 10 minutes walk from the nearest lift. And the room had a reasonable kitchen which allowed us to skip dining out for every meal.||On the minus side . . . ||I noticed the shower curtain rod in our washroom was a bit loose. It wasn't about to fall down. But I reported it to the desk anyway. Handyman showed up within a few hours. What stood out, however, was that the shower curtain rod had been attached with screws directly into the drywall. If you want the screws to, y'know, "stay in" you really need to use plastic anchors. These are quite inexpensive. But whoever put these screws in, either was in too much of a hurry, or didn't know how to do it properly (and yes, this is pretty basic). All this isn't a big deal, but it sets the mind a'wandering . . .||However, my biggest complaints are about the lack of an elevator in the building and lack of a ski storage locker on the ground floor. The lack of an elevator meant we had to lug our luggage and skis up a flight of stairs to get to the 3rd floor. ||As for the ski storage locker, there is a locker available "on each floor". Although it allows you to store your skis outside your room, we were faced with lugging our skis up and down three flights of stairs each day. So the "storage locker" wasn't really of much use. ||Every other hotel we've ever stayed at on ski trips have had the ski lockers ON THE GROUND FLOOR. So this isn't a new concept. But I guess the layout of the building couldn't accommodate this. ||Anyway, aside from these limitations (which you can decide if you want to put up with) it isn't a bad hotel.
