Very nice clean hotel. All staff were courteous, friendly and went out of their way for us. Room was large, with a wonderful shower and nice towels. The sitting area was a very nice bonus. Breakfast was good. We will definitely stay here again next time we are driving through Prince George. A special thanks to the gentleman who checked us out and gave us a sandwich for the road.

Such a fantastic experience at the Hyatt Place PG! Simran looked after me and my group and made checking in and our entire stay so easy and enjoyable. The rooms are very modern, clean and spacious. The location is perfect in downtown. It was such a bonus that there was a great breakfast selection each morning and a gym I could use. Would recommend staying here for your visit to Prince George!

I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Hyatt Place Prince George. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained. Rooms are spacious, with a good layout and comfortable beds. The breakfast had a decent variety and was well stocked. The location is convenient, close to restaurants and shops.

I have been staying at the Hyatt consistently for the last few years for my work trips to PG. They have notably improved their breakfast selection and reception offerings. This makes my says here increasingly more comfortable. Look forward to ongoing improvements. Still very clean and comfortable rooms.

Recently stayed at the Hyatt in Prince George, BC, for three days, and was extremely disappointed. As a Hyatt member, who travels frequently for work, with they Hyatt and Marriott my hotel preference, this was my first experience at this location.

From the onset, it took over 20 minutes for check in - no lineup or people ahead or behind. There was one staff member checking in and answering phones simultaneously. Finally check in, and arrive to our room, only to be assigned a room that wasn't booked. Rooms had to changed. We waited a while before this was sorted out. Once entering into our new room, it had an odor which is indescribable. Called the front desk if we could move and was told it was sold out which resulted with us having to stay in this room.

This King size room was very small and crowded, no where to put your luggage, nor a full size closet to hang your clothes properly - it was half size closet. Only one plug outlet in the most inconvenient area and wall. Once organized as best one could, throughout our stay we had to be extremely mindful of where our luggage was, desk chair at foot of bed, coffee table and random items throughout our stay - especially middle of the night using the washroom. Although the bed and pillows were comfortable, the bed would shift off the wooden base after a few roll overs during sleep or if you sat on the edge of the bed. The location of the air conditioner was directly across from our bed, blowing cold air directly onto us during the night. At one point I called in the middle of the night requesting more blankets. Again, I was told to come downstairs. Which I told them I was not comfortable doing so wearing my pj's and disheveled. I told them we had already used the extra blanket. It was left at that. We ended up using jackets, and towels over top the blanket for added warmth. You are probably asking yourself why didn't we turn the thermostat up, we did only to have cold air.

Second day, I called down to the front desk requesting extra towels and told housekeeping is off at 4:00 p.m. - it was 5:30 p.m. when I called. I was told to come down to the front desk to get extra towels. As we had dinner reservations we couldn't pick up. Upon our return later in the evening, around 9:30 p.m., we requested towels. There were no towels available and the front desk staff rode the elevator with us to our floor to retrieve from the floors housekeeping room. Staff should be cognizant and aware of lack of hotel room items if customers are expected to retrieve. Very disappointing customers are told to go to the front desk for requests.

Breakfast options was disappointing. We arrive at 8:20 a.m. to have choices of burnt scrabbled eggs literally the burnt crusty eggs left with the non-burnt eggs, overcooked turkey bacon which was beyond crispy, rather burnt. Almost raw bacon, empty fruit plate, tail end of leftover hash browns, and missing food items as indicated on the website. I ask an employee standing at the breakfast station if there would be more hot food coming out, and he said no - only what was left and pointed out the cold food available. We left.

Parking very limited. Had to park on the street several times throughout our stay. Not a good feeling when there are homeless people walking around, some doing drugs or passed out, on the other side of the fence of the front parking lot and at back of the hotel.

No courtesy water bottles left in the room. We had to purchase at the front desk. We called down for "food room service" and told we could go down to the front desk area and check what they had in the grab and go items.

Overall, extremely disappointed with our stay which was a full "self-serve" experience. It was by far not a cheap nightly rate and clearly paying for the name - The Hyatt in Prince George.

Although this experience was not the best, it does not deter me from staying at The Hyatt in other locations. The Prince George location did not live up to standards of service and expectations.

Customer service is the best. Breakfast is awesome. Staff members promptness in attending to customers needs are fantastic. Cleanliness, safety and comfort are excellent. Brought friends with me too. I am a Hyatt member and every visit never disappoints.
