Decent enough place. The front desk agent was very pleasant and checked me in very quickly. The room is decent. They have a crappy cable package so bring your own entertainment. I am here for work and my boss paid for it and for that purpose it is very nice in comparison to some places I’ve had to stay.

I really wish the fridge in my room had a freezer section to store my ice packs for lunch kit.

We stayed in a suite on the third floor, walked in and there were 3 huge stains on the floor called and they didn’t want to switch us rooms but came and cleaned them and dealt with wet carpet form our stay. The chairs at the island were filthy, the shower didn’t work properly and there was no shampoo on the dispenser. The room looked nice online but overall cleanliness was lacking in the room big time. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly but I wouldn’t go back to this hotel again. It’s worn out, and the lack of cleaning does not warrant the price

The room was very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Best sleep my husband and I have had at a hotel in a long time. The fireplace was just an added cozy bonus!

Do not stay here. Read the reviews. No attempts have been made to improve service. Very disappointing. We were having a large gathering so two couples needed to book rooms here that were conveniently located to the house. We were aware of prior reviews that complained of the cleanliness but were hoping this would not be an issue.
Upon arrival the desk staff couldn't even find the reservation for the 2nd room but our children had the confirmation email and they still had to be "found" a room. Our children got a call later that the reservation had been found but it was too late as the room had been filled.
One room was ok for cleanliness but the other had pizza or something mashed into the carpet and something splattered on the wall. Pictures were shown at the front desk. Our children were coming to the house for the evening so there would be plenty of time for it to be cleaned. When they came back 6 hours later...the mess was still there! They still have to stay there tonight...I wonder if the room will be cleaned when they go back later today? We aren't confident it will be.
I believe a VERY small discount was applied to the room charge...very disappointing. The rooms were $200 / night...a ridiculous price for Yorkton. And there is obviously no pride to make sure they get repeat business. Very little effort was made to ensure a nice, comfortable stay.
We will NOT be using this hotel again and we will be sure to let others know not to stay here.
Update: The mess was never cleaned. My daughter even had to clean what she said looked like blood. I understand some hotels have gone to no cleaning during your stay but they absolutely need to be making sure cleaning is done between guests. And if something has been missed and there's a complaint...there must be someone who can come in and take care of it.

I have stayed here more than 25 times. I can honestly say that the staff that work here are amazing. I know most people write reviews when they are upset, I wanted to write this review to let the staff at Home Inn & Suites know that they are providing excellent customer service. Keep up the amazing work!!

Second time staying here on business in Yorkton.

Place is in a convenient location. Close to restaurants and the like. probably better to drive.

Staff was efficient and courteous.

Rooms were clean, well taken care of and the beds very comfortable. Clean linens.

Breakfast was warm, fresh and had options.
