We had a great experience at Prestige. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, the room was well renovated and clean, and the pool was clean and warm.

The location is good for Kamloops because it's right off the highway for easy access to the city.

If you have trouble sleeping with gentle car noise, I would suggest getting a room on the parking lot side. For our family, the highway wasn't noticeable at all.

It is a little annoying that the waterslide can only be used from 4-8 and there has to be a staff member there, but that was never an issue. It worked for our schedule, and the staff were more than fine to be there and monitor.

Please dont let my rating influence your stay here. Prestige hotels and resorts are fantastic hotels and synonymous for great places to stay, including the Kamloops Prestige Hotel.

I unfortunately ran into an issue with our toilet not functioning properly. The overnight staff did everything they could to rectify the issue but unfortunately the hotel was at capacity and therefore I was left with the decision to stay or find another hotel at 930pm. My wife and I ultimatly decided to stay because it was otherwise very comfortable and clean.

Just for context, toilet lever was broken and so the only way to flush the toilet was removing the tank lid and pulling the chain. It worked, but unfortunately for rating purposes wasn't a fantastic situation giving the price we paid for one night.

When checking out, we spoke to the manager and he was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Very reasonable and apologetic. He heard and understood our disappointment with our stay and offered a generous compensation, to which my wife and I agreed to and were happy with. Aside from the broken toilet, staff were friendly, amenities were great and overall had the Prestige quality that I love. I would absolutely stay here again with no hesitation.

This is a very nice Super 8 hotel. But as a Best Western family member it is a major disappointment.

There is no breakfast. What you get is a coupon code for an overpriced breakfast. After taxes and tip…. It’s a good thing Tim Hortons is across the street!

This hotel says it is pretty friendly but it is more like pets allowed. Nothing friendly about it. You don’t get any treats or poop bags. There are no feeding dishes. There are no poop bags on the property. They just charge you $30 for the vibes.

My room was off the highway and beside the pool entrance. The noise coming from both ends was a lot.

The rooms are very small. There are no cups in the bathroom so you need to find the coffee pot hidden on top of the fridge in the cabinet.

The TVs are not smart. No apps. You cannot cast to them. The channels are few and the input ports are not accessible. It’s like flying on Flair for your entertainment options.

There’s not many lights in the rooms either. One overhead light by the door and one in the vanity. And of my bulbs in the vanity was burnt out so it was even darker in there.

This hotel wouldn’t be bad if priced appropriately. But it’s like $10 less than the Best Western Plus which is so much nicer. $300 for this including pet fees and taxes (and that was the member rate) is comedic.

This hotel was an awesome experience. We went to the restaurant for dinner the food was super delicious abit pricey though. As a guest we received 25% off for breakfast. The hot tub and pool weren't busy, and the pool and hot tub were warm and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a quiet room and a great sleep. The location was close to everything we were interested in. I would recommend this hotel from the experience we had staying there.

Hotel staff are efficient, professional and kind. The hotel is clean and the rooms are a good size. Good wifi access. Good breakfast. We have stayed here several times and will keep going back.||Easy access to hotel off of major route. It is within walking distance of a mall and has the Moon Wok restaurant on site which has good food after a long drive.
