We absolutely had an amazing stay! The only bad thing about it was that we had my 78 year old father sleeping on the hide a bed and it was the most uncomfortable bed ever. He said it was like sleeping on pins and needles. If they get proper mattresses for the hide a bed or switch it to a futon it would be a five star rating! Very clean, courteous staff! Awesome hotel! Please make the pullouts more comfortable!

Excellent stay at MStar for a week-long business trip. The room was quiet, spacious, comfortable and clean, with a microwave and fridge. Nice staff. Great shower and bed. They clean the rooms every day, unlike the other mainstream hotel in town. Well located in the heart of the little town. Good food at the “bistro” (actually a sports bar) that’s steps away.

A really comfortable and central hotel to stay in while in Kitimat. Rooms were just what we needed and very comfortable and clean. I loved the complicated coffee and muffin area in the lobby and there was always someone at the front desk incase we had any questions.

I was pleasantly surprised with this Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, however Trin was exceptional. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The coffee machine in the lobby was a bonus!!

Everything was ruined by the sheer incompetence of the management. From the moment I tried speaking to management, it was clear that the staff was poorly trained and lacked any real support. When I tried to address a billing issue, the manager was completely unhelpful, passing the buck and avoiding responsibility. It felt like there was no leadership or direction, leading to a chaotic and frustrating experience for everyone. It's a shame because the location had potential, but the terrible management made it a place I'll never return

If you are booking through phone, make sure they send booking confirmation. I got verbal confirmation that they got my booking, but when I reached on the day of my stay, they were not able to find my booking. I forgot this simple fact of checking confirmation and was left hanging.
