Moi et mon conjoint avons été très bien reçu autant par le chien sur place que les employés, merci! Décoration rustique magnifique! La vue était superbe sur les montagnes. Un bon déjeuner en compagnie.

An incredibly peaceful place to stay with stunning views. The hosts are incredible and provide 5 star attentive service. The property feels old English but is warm and comfortable. ||I stayed in the largest suite and it felt like I was at home in my own bedroom. Well done!!!

Ruth’s baking and amazing hospitality, fresh honey, clean linens 24/7, clean kitchen, beautiful landscape, well maintained trails, gorgeous garden and hummingbirds… this piece of paradise is a precious gift I hope everyone has a chance to experience. The location is very nice. It offers quick access to the shoreline of Minette Bay via an established network of walking paths. The lodge was clean, quiet and very well kept. The hosts were pleasant and breakfast was wonderful. I never would have guessed that such a place was hidden in behind Kitimat.

If I could give this Lodge a 100/100 star review I would. The setting at the end of a fingerling of the ocean amongst the tallest pines imaginable in a secure and isolated part of British Columbia was outstansding. ||The Lodge itself was clean, quaint, comfortable, private , cozy, welcoming, and warm. There were numerous nooks to settle in and read or chat on a rainy cold day with working fireplaces. The views of the grounds and the ocean were spectacular. The bedrooms had beds and pillows that were clean, supportive, and so comfortable. The end of the day was bliss to fall into bed. ||The bathrooms were private and clean with all the amenities of soap, shampoo, conditioners, body washes, hair dryers and robes. ||There were well kept footpaths throughput the grounds with suspension bridges, and well marked different trails. Amazing!||Dr. Mills and his wife Ruth were kind, gracious and welcoming hosts. Ruth was an amazing chef! The breakfasts that Ruth provided were delicious, to each person's desire, and taste. I cannot say enough about the scones and lemon curd! I had the sense that we were welcomed and cherished guests and that the Mills would do whatever they could to make our stay as comfortable and interesting as possible. I have never felt like that in any other Lodge and definitely never in one of the many franchised hotels. A huge thank you to the MIlls!||Although secluded from the main town of Kitimat, there was quick access into town if one had a car. This is an upscale Lodge and the cost was not inexpensive but not prohibitive either. The time spent at Minette Lodge was well worth the cost. The lodge and the Mills will be rememebered extremely fondly forever. I will go back and spend time there again if I can.

We spent two wonderful nights at Minette Bay Lodge during our BC road trip. Our visit exceeded all our expectations. Ruth’s and Howard’s warm welcome made us feel special. We enjoyed the luxurious breakfasts and the lavish evening charcuteries on the most welcoming patio with stunning views. The house, its decorations and atmosphere were beautiful. Strolling around their park was an extra delight. The whole environment was magical and relaxing. Ruth even prepared us delicious lunch boxes for our hike to Wathl lake. And Wally the dog was such a cutie! We will remember our stay in Minette Bay forever. Thank you Ruth and Howard!

Our family had the amazing opportunity to spend a few days at Minette Bay Lodge in July of 2024. To describe the experience in one word “heavenly”. The drive into the lodge on a nice gravel road through a serene forest, sets your mood to “relax mode”. Rolling on to the grounds of the lodge, you are greeted with beautiful sites of pristine conditions and an amazing backdrop of Minette Bay and the mountain range behind it. Dr Howard and Ms Ruth welcomed us with the most charming British manners into their beautiful home. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and relaxing. A cigar and a drink on the back porch at 11pm (still daylight by the way) is a must do. My family will never forget the wonderful visits of the lodge dog, the super cool Wally. I know they miss him. However, all of this pale in comparison to the most incredible breakfast you will ever have in your life prepared by Ms Ruth daily. Her muesli mix flavor is something that will stay with you for the rest of your life, not to mention the fresh cherry muffins with cherries picked on the same day from her back yard. Amazing place with great people, a must do.

We had a fabulous stay at beautiful, very comfortable, serene Minette Bay Lodge. My husband and I stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed every minute!|We felt so welcomed by Howard and Ruth and appreciated their tremendous hospitality as well as the gorgeous, delicious breakfasts including Ruth’s freshly baked scones and fresh fruit/yogurt and Howard’s offering of mixing up an evening cocktail by the fire. 👌 We had the best sleeps nightly in the most comfortable bed and room upstairs. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and also provide you with plenty of privacy and freedom to roam and enjoy the beautiful sitting rooms, library and grounds on your own. The weather was very good for early May so we were also able to enjoy the patio and peaceful view and walk the trails.|I highly recommend a stay here for both personal and business accommodation. You’ll miss it when it’s time to leave!||Lynne
