Do not expect timely service or great communication.
Michael was great leading up to the wedding, which is why I gave 2 stars, but the day before he wanted to change times due to “issues”. He double/triple books the trolley, which is fine but lies and says he’s late due to mechanical issues. I know for a fact he booked another wedding the same day as ours. He was late for their pickups to their venue because he was on time for us but then just didn’t show up for one of our pick ups back to the hotel because he was driving them.
He gets very aggressive and rude when confronted.
For me personally, everything would have been fine had he messaged me saying he would not be coming for the 1130 pick up but instead did not communicated to us at all. My guests were left waiting outside for an hour till he finally showed up (with attitude) at 1230 for the last pick up time.
I’m not over exaggerating when I say he took the final 30 minutes of my wedding away from me because I was busy calling him (with no answer, no text) and trying to manage my upset guest. I missed our last dance because of him and his lack of communication.
He has his phone in his hand constantly, there is no excuse for him to not send me a simple text.
No matter how great he was leading up to and at the beginning of the day, this experience has left me very disappointed and would not recommend his service to anyone.

If it wasn’t for how wonderful the trolley looked in photos, I would give this service a 0 star rating. This company is probably great for their town tours for breweries that is flexible, but has absolutely no time management skills for weddings or time specific events, which sadly is was what we used them for. The owner even said so to our guests, to quote him “Brides have schedules, I don't” announced to our guests on the first trip of the day. BRIDES PLEASE BEWARE! They overbooked themselves from what I know at least 3-4 events the day of our wedding. I gave Michael my schedule in detail via email 3 times over the course of a year. He confirmed it was fine and would work each time. The day of was a completely different story. They were late picking up our guests for the ceremony, having them arriving 5 minutes before it began, when I had left so much buffer time in case they hit traffic. That was not the issue, they just showed up to the pick up location late. Then they were over 40 minutes late to take guests to our reception. I was giving a heads up via email by Michael that our 5:30pm pick up could be delayed because of traffic in north durham due to concerts going on - NOT because he was working them as transportation service. Terrible communication and lying. When it came to pick up time, they argued with our coordinator during our dinner that when they were scheduled to pick people up and take them to the 2 locations (which again I stated multiple times in emails with times listed) that it suddenly did not work for their schedule. They showed up 20 minutes early for the first pick up and truly thank goodness for our other vendors advocating for us and telling them to take a lap because we lost out on over 40 minutes of dancing and rushing through speeches, and would have lost out on another 20 totalling at AN HOUR if they got guests on in “their schedule.” When they returned for the last pick up we were rushed out of the venue and he actually said the owner of the venue wanted people out right in front of him, when he never said this. He also told me that we needed to hurry up as he had another wedding to pick up, which I felt terrible for the other wedding party experiencing this and did try to move our group along quickly. I found out the following day that they did an entire festival pick up from Slabtown cider and multiple weddings that day. I asked on booking if they would be doing multiple events and did not get a yes or no but was assured we would be taken care of. Honestly if I had of known I would have arranged other reliable transportation. It's picturesque but for how unorganized this small business is run, it is not worth booking.

Our family was delighted to have the opportunity to ride around on the Town Trolley last month after our North Pole Experience and Train Ride. We were driven through Uxbridge by Mike and his wife. We felt really special being the only ones on board. Mike was a fantastic host as he taught us about the history of the Trolley. They were very friendly and even took a complimentary photo of us to celebrate the holidays.

We were looking forward to having the trolley at our wedding, but the day prior I received an email saying that it was being repaired and instead we would have a coach bus. As grateful as I was for transportation, it wasn’t what I had anticipated. We had banked on having photos taken at the trolley, and it was an exciting piece of the wedding for our out of town visitors.

When I reached out to Michael asking for some form of reimbursement he ignored my emails. I ended up calling him and he was incredibly defensive. When I mentioned leaving a Google review about my experience he threatened by saying he knew a lot of people in my area and would let them know how difficult I had been to work with, additionally he mentioned he would never offer a service in my area again.

I understand some things are beyond control, but for anyone chartering this service I would make sure there’s a plan in place if the trolley breaks down conveniently a day before your wedding.
