I attended the Farm to Flame dinner, July 5th. This is my third Old Red Barn experience and I have to say, they knock it out of the park every time! The moment you arrive you are welcomed into such a beautiful setting. Each course carefully explained and you see the passion the team have for fresh local food. The food was, as always amazing! The service top notch and the wonderful people we met along the way. We had family visiting from Ireland so it was good to show them what Alberta has to offer. A great experience all round and will most certainly be back. Thank you Old Red Barn team.

This was our fourth year attending a Farm to Flame event at the Old Red Barn. Warm, welcoming and attentive hosts and staff, as always, and a lovely venue. Appreciated the reduced ticket pricing this year as it was creeping a bit out of range (and wasn’t put out with the elimination of the complimentary welcome drink this year to make the reduction feasible). The new garden-side course was a treat as was the trusty fire-side starter. Where it went a bit odd for us in our experience was the new bread course and vegetable course added this year - both great things, just serve it with the main course. I’ll be honest with you, the dessert course left a lot to be desired - it was not good. All-in-all, 4 out of 5 stars for this year's experience.

A perfect event- Delicious food, proper proportions, perfect appointment and excellent, professional service. Our server is a school teacher who worked the event as a server, for the experience. She made me and our group feel important. The venue was the loft of a barn reconfigured to host catered events. It was immaculate and had a homey atmosphere.
Overall, the event was wonderful and my wife and I look forward to attending the next event..

An amazing experience! Second year in a row here and we enjoyed ourselves both times.
It’s a beautiful barn venue and amazing food. Matt and Melissa are absolutely wonderful hosts, making sure everyone is welcome, comfortable, and happy with the service. We enjoyed learning about how the food is cooked and where it comes from, all local within Alberta. Looking forward to our next visit!

We enjoyed an evening at the Old Red Barn a few nights ago and it was an absolute delight! Matt and Melissa are amazing hosts who are passionate about what they do and the experience they offer so if you’re looking for a high quality farm to table dining experience in a beautiful setting, then look no further. They source local foods for their delicious multi-course meals showcasing local producers and truly giving their customers a glimpse into the lives of the farmers who produce the foods you’ll eat here. 100% recommend the Old Red Barn and can’t wait to take in another dinner later this summer!
