I can't say enough about our recent President's cruise (Sanjay Goel, President of Cruise Connections , so well as Catherine and Angela) in South Africa on the absolutely stunning Regent Cruiselines' Splendor of the Seas . We were truly treated like royalty - all the Cruise Connections' extras were amazing - special cocktail gatherings, dinners, lunches - all on top of everything already provided by the cruiselines. The specially tailored excursions offered by Sanjay were amazing, and I mustn't forget the never ending thoughtful gifts which arrived in our staterooms in the evenings - not to mention the souvenir one which arrived in the mail after we returned home! The painted ostrich eggs were beautiful, and a wonderful memory of our trip. It was nothing more than magical and quite emotiional to see all those magnificent animals in their natural habitat when we normally only see them in photos or TV shows.
The pre- cruise 3-day land stay in Capetown was so much fun, and a chance to get to know our fellow travellers before boarding the ship for a 15-day cruise. I can still feel the beat of
the bongo drums when we were all treated to a bongo lesson before enjoying a scrumptious meal in Spyced Restaurant.
The staff and everything about Regent was A-1. They couldn't have been more friendly (while still being professional) . We enjoyed them and the ship so much that we immediately signed up for a Jan. 2026 17-day Tokyo to Vancouver via Alaska cruise. The fact that it is also a President's Cruise was definitely a deciding factor - it'll be difficult going back to regular cruising after experiencing the excitement and ease of having everything looked after for you from start to finish!
Speaking of which, a major thank you to Angela who, travelling home with us, was wonderful in dealing with some glitches - seat mix-ups, lounge access mix-up and a missing wheelchair at the airport. It really made our long journey home much easier.
Now I only wish that all our cruises could be President's cruises!!!

I have been very happy with Cruise Connections and our travel professional - Elon Chopra. We recently took our third cruise through Cruise Connections - a Caribbean cruise on Celebrity and all the details were looked after very thoroughly. There was one minor issue while on board and Celebrity gave me a free courtesy call to Elon to check into it.
