We did a guided e-bike tour, and it was loads of fun. The bikes are really well maintained, they're comfortable, and they ride really nicely. The tour route is laid out well, with a terrific series of stops that are a mix of historical and just generally interesting or fun. Our tour guide was Will, and he did a superb job(!) providing detailed (and fascinating) information on the history of Halifax, including historical information specific to each stop. He was also an excellent ride leader, ensuring that riders at different experience and ability levels were all accommodated and accounted for.

Helmets are required by law in Halifax, and although we had concerns about using bike helmets that were not our own, the helmets that I Heart Bikes provided were all relatively new, in excellent condition, and are sanitized between uses. Once we saw the helmets, our concerns about using borrowed helmets evaporated.

The guided e-bike tour was a terrific experience. We had only a few hours in Halifax, and this was a great way to spend it. Very highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience on the I Heart Bikes e-bike tour in Halifax! Our guide, Rico, was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the ride both informative and fun. The weather was perfect, and highlights included the stunning Public Gardens and the exciting noon gun at the Citadel. It was a great way to explore the city and learn about its history. Bikes were comfortable and easy to operate. Easy to get to from the cruise ship. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately injured my knee after making plans on a cycle tour through the Annapolis Valley - and I Heart Bikes came through with flying colours when looking for a e-bike rental to take in place of my gravel bike. After several options I chose the one they suggested with an extended battery and it worked brilliantly! It was in excellent condition & ready to go exactly when I requested. It was probably the most efficient rental I’ve ever done. Thank-you I Heart Bikes.

Our tour with I ❤ Bikes was a top highlight of our trip to Nova Scotia. The staff were super friendly, the e-bikes were comfortable and easy to ride. Laura took us on a 2.5 hour tour of some of the best parts of the city: The Immigration Museum, Point Pleasant Park, The Public Gardens, Citadel Hill, and the Public Library to name a few. Laura was INCREDIBLE; kind, funny, and very knowledgeable about every stop. She also made sure that my 12 year old daughter felt included and was safe on the busier streets. Make sure you book a tour with this awesome business; you'll be missing out if you don't! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Two middle aged sisters did a Halifax bike tour with Will and had a wonderful time! One sister cycles a lot but the other not and he made both feel very comfortable. There was a perfect number of stops with informative discussions. He answered our questions, laughed at our jokes and took photos when we asked or when he offered. His enthusiasm for Halifax was evident and anyone who does a ride with him will have a great time. Thanks!!

Great selection of bikes from pedal to electric assist. Halifax has a few hills so electric assist is fantastic. Bike lock helmet all included. Enjoy the app to tour the city. The app is a bit of an energy hog and the app I did find overly complicated at times as it keeps updating. Just get an old fashion map as Google maps shows most of Halifax as parking lots.
