I booked the Tall Ship Silva Sailing Cruise for a group of 17 but accidentally booked it for the wrong date and didn't realize until after the ticket date! Ambassatours was so amazing and understanding that they changed the tickets for me to the date I meant to book. I am so grateful. The cruise was lovely - amazing value for live music, scenic tour, very reasonably priced drinks, and the weather was perfect! Thank you so much!

Overall the cruise was nice. Around the harbour. Nothing exciting. The sails going up was definitely the highlight. The motors kept running so we weren’t really on a sailing ship. It was still lovely. The drinks were pricey but not surprising. It goes hand in hand with a “tour”. “Gary” the entertainment was a lot of fun. Great attitude and sang well. The staff were friendly.

We booked the evening cruise on our last evening visiting Halifax, and I have to say it was the highlight of our trip, worth the price. All of the crew were so nice and accommodating, we sat near the front of the ship where the live entertainment was. When the sails went up, they asked my toddler to help pull it up which was so fun. Eventually, my toddler started walking around and wanting to explore - he went up towards the steering wheel, and the captain and his crew were so nice to let him sit and steer a little. It was very special and thank you again for making the experience so memorable!

Now onto the live entertainment, Gary - we didn't know what to expect with the live entertainment and assumed it would be some light jazz maybe? That would have been nice too. But Gary brought his young energy, great crowd work/personality and musical talent (mix of contemporary hits, plus "teenage dirtbag" mixed in which was so nostalgic and he did such a great job with it) to the ship. My family and I loved his music and definitely thought it made the experience even better. He was great with our toddler too, and even took some requests. I would have loved for the ride and the music to last even longer.

I will say to go a bit earlier for your preferred seat - we got there about 15 min before sailing off and the boat was already mostly packed. Views and experience were amazing. I definitely recommend this boat ride for anyone, and to bring your family along too.

What a fun experience with stunning views. I took my mother and she loved it. The weather was perfect. They have a bar with snacks, beer and soft drinks. The music act was entertaining too. You really get a good view of the harbour. The crew was friendly and everything was clean.

We had a blast on the sunset tour! Brooklyn provided lovely live music and some fun facts, the views were amazing, and getting to raise the sail on a historical ship was a really special experience. Would definitely recommend!
