Had a great time fishing! The tour looked busy at first, but honestly they made up for it by having a fantastic deck hand and constantly going to new spots. Would have given them a 5, if the rods were newer and were maintained slightly better.

WORST FISHING TOUR in all of halifax. booked a 3 hour tour and left 20
min late and came back 10 min early. to add to this the equipment was not suitable with hooks way too big for anything available in these waters. in addition to this an incompetent captain with no fishing experience who didn’t know how to properly use a fish radar. Don’t waste ur money better off buying a rod and going to the pier. this tour is without a doubt a money grab.

I went 3 times on this fishing tour , and I enjoyed it very much . I am very surprised that some people say they don’t recommend it and they didn’t enjoy it . I tried the fishing tour in Lunenberg, but still I consider this one in Halifax to be more enjoyable. Catching fish could be more luck than anything else , in all my fishing tours that I have been I always catch a lot of fish , but nothing too big , but I notice other people around me catch giant fish .if you don’t like the rods and the lines on board , you are allowed to bring your own . I don’t drink liquor, so the beverages price doesn’t matter to me , I just focus on fishing and enjoy the sun .

If I could take this star back I would but to leave a review you have to give them one. I would not recommend this charter to anyone who has any experience in fishing. A tourist who has no fishing experience would not know they are being ripped off All the rods had barely enough line on the real to reach bottom. We were told we were going for cod and haddock yet they gave us a rod with tackle that would not even hold anything larger than a mackerel. I would not recommend this out outfit to anyone. The captain did well spinning the boat around and wrapping everyone's lines up. To jig you need to sit still long enough to reach the bottom but the minute you did he would move the boat or spin it around on you so you can save your money and eat out

It's a fishing trip not made for princesses. I thought it was an amazing experience. Older boat but totally safe and what I expected to find in the east coast. Staff/crew were fast to solve issues, rig rods, take fish off the hooks and grab a refill(crucial for fishing). Literally caught a boat full of mackerel twice. We're the lucky ones to catch a cod over 18 inches( keeping limit). Probably doing again before the end of our week here.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. If you want to spend $70/person to get tossed around on a poorly engendered and dangerous boat for a few hours, this is charter for you. Not to mention total fishing time was 10-15 mins max. Don't waste your time on this sad Halifax money grab. Fishing charter or death trap? I wouldn't suggest finding out

I enjoyed this deep sea fishing with my friends, no keepers but good for beginners.staff was helpful and professional. Most importantly catching fish is all about luck 😜

Wet paint and poor fishing. Boat rocks like Neil Young. Spring is not the time to go.
