Encore merci! Lucie et Pauline

Beautifull and nature campground near the river. Camp's Staff saved us from the strong rain by setting up a real Canadian camp! Thanks again!

We recently went on a 6-hour boat tour and had a mixed experience. Our guide, Warren, was absolutely fantastic — very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. He truly made the trip more enjoyable with his energy and insights.

However, one major downside was the noise level on the boat. It was extremely loud, consistently over 90 decibels, creating a constant droning sound that became quite uncomfortable over time. Given the duration of the tour, I would strongly recommend bringing hearing protection. It would have made a significant difference in our overall comfort.

All in all, the sights and the guide were great, but the excessive noise is something future travelers should be prepared for.

The Rainbow Falls boat tour was the highlight of our trip. Warren was friendly, knowledgable and great fun! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

The beach picnic, followed by a slice of delicious homemade streusel, was so good that we stopped by the cafe the next day for another slice.

On the boat ride over to Azure lake we saw what we believed to be a Golden Eagle. It would have been amazing to see more wildlife, but this obviously can’t be guaranteed. I’d love to come back and take the tour again in the hopes of seeing more creatures!

We visited the lake about a week ago and decided to take the boat tour last minute. We asked how long was the tour, as we had our dog with us and were concerned about leavingig her in the car. To our surprise we were told that she could join us. Our dog is very well behaved and used to boats. Our guide was Dennis. He made the tour fun and informative. Felt like we met an old friend. On the 1-1.5 hr tour you will get cake and a drink. The boat is a pontoon and really comfy. Like a living room on water.
We will sure visit again on a sunny day. On our tour it started raining heavily but we enjoyed that too. Grateful to all the staff that made this experience possible :).

Terrible Kayak Rental – Frogs, Rude Staff, and a Complete Mess!

I can’t believe how awful this place was. Renting a kayak here was a complete nightmare, and I would never recommend it to anyone.

First of all, the kayaks were filthy and clearly not checked before being handed out. How do I know? Because there were 3 FROGS hiding inside my kayak! I only noticed once I was in the middle of the lake, with these unexpected (and very unwelcome) passengers hopping around. Disgusting and unacceptable!

The staff didn’t care at all—they just laughed it off like it was some kind of joke. No apology, no offer to help, just rudeness and unprofessionalism. They clearly don’t inspect or clean their equipment, which is a major safety and hygiene concern.

And speaking of terrible organization—the kayaks were 3 km away from the booking point, completely unattended. No supervision, no assistance, just a chaotic free-for-all. It felt like they didn’t even care if people got lost or had problems.

Save your money and your sanity—avoid this place at all costs! There are zero excuses for this level of neglect and terrible customer service. Never again!

Having just returned from a three-day canoe trip on Clearwater Lake, I am utterly captivated by its beauty and serenity. This hidden gem nestled in the heart of nature has left me in awe of its sheer perfection.

From the moment we dipped our paddles into the crystal-clear waters, we were transported into a world of tranquility and adventure. The lake's pristine blue hues sparkled under the warm sunlight, creating an enchanting atmosphere that was impossible to resist.

Canoeing across Clearwater Lake felt like gliding on a dream. The peacefulness of the surroundings, with only the sound of our paddles gently slicing through the water and the occasional serenade of birdsong, brought a sense of calmness that is hard to find in our everyday lives.

As we explored the lake, we were treated to breathtaking vistas at every turn. Towering trees lined the shores, their reflections dancing on the mirror-like surface of the water. We marveled at the rugged cliffs that stood proudly against the horizon, adding to the dramatic landscape. The sight of distant mountains completed the picturesque backdrop, making each stroke of the paddle a moment to cherish.

Our days were filled with exploration and adventure. We discovered hidden coves and secluded beaches where we could stop for a peaceful picnic or take a refreshing swim. Wildlife greeted us along the way, with deer grazing by the water's edge and eagles soaring overhead, reminding us of the untouched beauty of this natural playground.
