They know your room code, when u leave room make sure to not leave anything valuable. The room was dirty the bedding too and sink was plugged and leaking in bathroom...the room also stinks of mold

We have stayed here on our way through town on two different occasions now and it has been great. The manager is very kind and helpful and our room was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. We will continue to stop here on our way through!

If you expect luxury in lower costs hotel you will be very disappointed. If you expect to have clean room with AC and bathroom you will be more than happy. We were guests here 5 days and we will come next year for sure. Owner and manager are super friendly and they were here to help for anything. Thank you for everything 🙂

Nothing to write home about!!!
Rent and Rates keep rising while there is nothing done to update or make conditions liveable. Most rooms have no heat and why advertise apartments when that is a absolute lie. The so called master suite has no bathroom (toilet only) not clean or sanitary. The floors in most rooms are falling through literally from the old plumbing below that leak and grow mold. The mold has caused many breathing issues due to any cleaning products will cause a toxic reaction which burn your lungs to the point of hospitalization. When the floor tiles Crack and break under foot while brushing your teeth wouldn't it be best to fix the problem from scratch. My foot went through the floor with no pressure at all and it reeks of urine from broken plumbing around the toilet. Your not really peeing in the toilet when the plumbing is not attached to the sewer and the body fluids are just going straight into the ground under the motel.
The sad part is the owners know the unsanitary and unsafe conditions yet with 24 hours the same room is rented out again and again with no repairs.
This motel should be condemned and torn down.
I believe the motel is a danger to all who live there , stay one night or one month , the motel is disgusting and the owners have no plans to update or renovate it to better standards , it's all about grabbing the cash from anyone they can.
Not to mention the new so called manager who is unstable and claims to be a licensed plumber/accountant yet has not finished or even started any repairs to the motel. The only thing he does do well is finishing his bottle(s) of vodka. If that's good advertising for any place of "business " the Highland Inn is the place to provide unstable cheap labour , unsafe living conditions and unfinished repairs.

I have to be totally honest; the facility itself is really worn out and quite neglected structurally as are the mattresses & fixtures; by normal standards the whole place is in need of extensive renos. No phone in room, no "do not disturb" sign, only one key for two people, fan in bathroom is dead etc. Having said that, the people managing the place are amazing! Specifically Naomi is very hospitable and accommodating and in spite of the worn out condition etc, the rooms are kept very clean. As someone else said, "clean and cheap". If you want fancy or modern or want any frills - you best look elsewhere. But if you simply want clean, cheap & no frills but with helpful & accommodating staff with a wonderful attitude - look no further. Five start service in a one star motel. Ideally the owners would take their business more seriously and spruce the place up at least a little, put in phones etc. But I hope they appreciate what an asset Naomi is. They're very fortunate to have her.

Wir kamen hierher ohne im Voraus zu buchen. Der Chef liess uns lange warten, bis wir einchecken durften. Er hatte viel Mühe bis unsere Kreditkarte von seiner Maschine akzeptiert wurde.||Das Zimmer macht einen alten Eindruck. Bei genauerem Hinschauen stellen wir fest, dass hier nicht gründlich geputzt wird. Im Kühlschrank sind noch Reste von früheren Gästen. Auch das Bad ist nicht sauber.||Das WIFI fällt ständig raus.||Weiter gibt es keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Die in der Rezeption bleibt leer.||Kurs , es ist ein Motel zum Vergessen.
