My son and I stayed 2 nights for his birthday in May and had the best time! Will absolutely be going back. We had a room on the first floor and it was beautifully redone! Brand new mattress' and pillows, very comfortable! The washroom is a tad small but manageable.
The restaurant attached is delicious! Cool atmosphere. My son loved the full rack of ribs!
Drinks were delicious!
The pool was the perfect temperature and the hot tub was perfect as well!
Would be cool if the pool was open later than 9pm but still had a blast with the kids!

This is only a review of the tavern restaurant. It is clean, modern and stylish. Having said that the menu is mostly bar type food but it is very well prepared and tasty. We were there in the late afternoon to grab an early dinner so it was very quiet. We enjoyed the ambiance and the food. I recommend.

Friendly staff, nice renovations.. very clean and very comfortable bed/pillows!! Pool area looked nice! We checked in late and had a great sleep. No issues at all! Great for families or when Just passing through!||It’s close to Tim Hortons for a coffee on the way out!

This is my second multiple day stays. Robin was fabulous to deal with. Had an issue with the TV and she worked so hard to accommodate me. I love staying here. The restaurant is wonderful. I eat all my meals here when I stay at the hotel. It is worth the drive from Winnipeg to eat here. Prices are very reasonable, service is great, food is great and portions are huge. The best eggs Benedict I have ever had

How refreshing to find a motel with pleasant front-end staff to greet us when we arrived. The young woman realized we were seniors and applied a discount to our bill without us even asking! We were also impressed to finally stay in a motel that allowed our 2 small dogs to stay with us without having to pay an extra fee for them. Kudos to this motel! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Our U9 hockey team stayed at Breezy Oaks for the weekend and had a great experience. Our room on the main floor was renovated and clean, beds were comfy. The pool and hot tub was a big hit with the team, spent lots of time in there. There was another hockey team staying as well so the hotel was quite busy, but noise at night wasn’t an issue for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. ||The restaurant is beautiful, and accommodated our group of ~30 (half of them kids) very well for dinner. We booked ahead of time - good thing because the restaurant was packed, but service and the food were both great. ||One opportunity for improvement: the climate control unit (heat/AC) in our room was dated and it was hard to control temperature, it was either too hot or too cold. But for how much we were actually in the room, we managed. ||All in all, great value for $113/night. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

I feel the images of the rooms of this hotel are misleading as the hotel definitely is NOT all updated. I wish I had remembered to take a picture.

Our room on the second floor had 30+ year old stained carpet and the vintage bedspread as displayed in images if you go back 3 years.

The temperature control was a window unit and it was either fully on or fully off. It didn’t turn off if it reached the set temperature. When we went for supper and came back a couple hours later our room was like a sauna, then when we turned it off for the night it was freezing in the middle of the night (February). There were no extra blankets and not even a comforter, just a sheet and a thin cover. Also the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

The room also seemed to have some sort of dust/mold issue as the entire time my husband and I were in there we had sinus issues… but not when we left.

The girl at front desk never even asked how our stay was when we checked out.

The only saving grace of this hotel was that the restaurant was good.

Great food at the tavern. I love the fish tacos and get it almost everytime I stop by. I have had breakfast and wings here as well, they did not disappoint! I can confidently say Breezy oaks tavern is one of our best restaurants/bars in beausejour!
