My mom and I stayed at Elsie and Henry's home for four nights in April 2014. Both of them are very great people - friendly, welcoming, helpful, funny, informative...the list goes on. The house is beautiful both inside and out. The rooms and beds are comfortable so we always had a good night of rest that readied us for the next day. This was enhanced by the pre-bed tea with our hosts (and now friends!) as well as the excellent breakfasts that Elsie prepared for us. After a long day in the city, we would come "home" to relax in front of the fireplace in the general room downstairs while playing board-games. The view from the house overlooks the entire city of Brandon and we woke up with the sun every morning. We recommend this place to everyone!! We will definitely be back whenever we visit Brandon again.

My husband and I plus a friend had the great privilege of staying here for four nights June 29-July 2, 2013 when we visited Brandon to attend a family reunion. As soon as we walked through the door, we immediately felt at home and felt like one of the family. Elsie and Henry's gracious home was spotless and beautifully decorated. The terraced gardens were amazing. Elsie and Henry were very friendly and warm-hearted. Elsie's breakfasts set us up for all day. In the evenings, they would invite us to join them on the back deck for coffee and a beautiful dessert plus a glass of Henry's home-made wine. I would definitely recommend Braeview - we were all very sorry to leave. Stayed for 3 nights. Very much a model B&B. Had a large room with queen bed with direct access to bathroom. House is located in a nice area up on a hill in Brandon, and was very easy to access and leave to get around.||||Hosts were very outgoing and hospitable, but had a great deal of respect for privacy. Typically invited all the guests for an evening tea, to which we even had the treat of fresh baking and desert.||||VERY reasonable rates. Will definitely be staying here again next year for Ag Days. I would recommend it for business or any family travelling.||||On site, there were 3 bedrooms as well as a suite in the basement.||||Breakfast had multiple options with excellent food being served. Most days I wouldn't have lunch until 2PM, so a great hearty breakfast was a great help.||||Overall, I was very much impressed by the place and hospitality of the Braeview B&B.

This was our second visit at Braeview Bed & Breakfast. The delightful experience of our first visit compelled us to re-book for our return trip to Brandon. We were once again amazed at the kind and generous hospitality of our hosts, Elsie & Henry Buhler. ||The modern house is very clean, bright and welcoming and overlooks the professionally landscaped rear garden. The view from the deck is spectacular, especially in the evening, as it provides a panoramic view of the city of Brandon.||We highly recommend Braeview B & B to anyone wishing a relaxing,peaceful and nourishing stay while in Brandon.

I am a frequent business traveler and stay at B&B's often. The Braeview B&B was one of a kind and truly a wonerful experience. The owners, Elsie and Henry, made me feel right at home and were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were outstanding and the bed was very comfortable. Upon my arrival I was treated to tea and delicious chocolate cake, and enjoyed a fabulous visit with Elsie and Henry. Their house is beautiful, the bed was very comfy, and the breakfast the next morning was fantastic. But what was most impressive is their hospitality; I felt very comfortable and at home right when I walked in the door.

Very quiet setting on a hillside within a cul-de-sac providing a decent view of the river valley below and downtown Brandon in the distance. Elsie and John did their best to make their guests feel at home, providing an evening dessert as we sat together and talked about topics of common interest. Breakfast was superbly prepared. I enjoyed a solid, comfortable sleep in the guest bedroom on the first level. Would definitely stay there again if I ever return to Brandon.
