We called in for a one-night stop on the way north to Gros Morne and St Anthony's. Found the hotel very modern, comfortable and centrally located with good parking available off-street. The restaurant served a good range of food both for dinner and the following morning's breakfast - all well-prepared. An added bonus was the micro-brewery downstairs with some very good beers. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. We left thinking that we'd have to return for a longer stay to properly explore Corner Brook and the surrounding area.

Had had earlier correspondence with the hotel and was impressed by the efficiency of the young man to whom I spoke when making the reservation. I was hugely attracted by the fact that the hotel has a craft brewery on the ground flool - this plays to my travel interests. Check in smooth and efficient (thank you Emma), craft beers were excellent (did not stay for dinner although menu looked good). Room was lovely...the silkiest sheets I think I have ever enjoyed. A little problem with the dual TV remotes (perhaps a brief written explanation to be provided for guests not used to this advanced level of technology) and enjoyed sound sleep after a long dry of rriving and the aformentioned relaxing beverages.

Lovely new hotel! The eggs Benedict breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the rooftop hot tub and sauna- appreciated that you book your hot tub time slot, so as not to have kids/strangers in tub with you. The on site guest laundry. |Rooms were nice, clean and staff was excellent!

This is definately one of the higher end options in corner Brook, and I have stayed here many times over the past 3-4 years, overall, the experiences have been quite positive. This past month we stayed here for 5 nights in total while on the west coast

The free breakfast was delicious, with complimentary room service available, which we used one morning we were in a rush.

Rooms are pretty nice, modern with amazing blackout blinds and comfy beds. I love their showers and east coast glow bath products. (If I had one critique, I'd be looking for extra shower heads in some of the larger suite showers, but honestly that's just being nitpicky)

Service was good, we did have a minor issue that was corrected promptly and without fuss.

Daily they do offer a small tray of treats and coffee in the lobby, and do have friendly staff. So honestly from my experience it's they've been great. Will continue to return here.

The nicest hotel stay we have every experienced, and here's why:||#1: The Staff - from reservations to daily interactions, they are unfailingly warm, friendly and considerate. They make you feel like friends.||#2: The Rooms - gorgeous in both design and layout. Comfy and functional. Heated floors and thoughtfully placed grip bars in the large bathroom. French press local coffee and local chocolates. Ample fridge space and stocked with sparkling water and their own Boomstick beer selections. Roku and cable TV. Couch and workspace. Complimentary glass growler to hold beer or water, and you can take it home with you.||#3: The Spaces - local fine artwork throughout the hotel, with interpretative signage about each artist. Filtered water stations throughout. Books and ample gathering space in the lobby. Daily complimentary morning coffee and 24/7 baked treats at the front desk. Wood-burning fireplace. Powered doors for accessibility and an elevator. Public washrooms inclusively labelled as "with stalls and urinals" or "just stalls" instead of in the gender binary. ||#4: The Hot Tubs - two large outdoor tubs on the rooftop patio. Available by reservation for 45-minute private enjoyment. Just heaven...||#5: The Restaurant - free breakfast daily offers many delicious menu options, such as Eggs Benedict, French Toast, Fish Cakes and Beans, among several other delicious offerings - we stayed a week and never got bored. Espresso-based coffees. The lunch and supper options also stellar. Oh, and I almost forgot the best part: for breakfast you can either go down to the restaurant OR have it delivered as room service. Any day, no extra charge. So great...||#6: The Location - right on West Street, across from Louis Gees (try their shawarma wrap, trust me), walking distance to the Rotary Arts Centre. Free on-site parking (it can fill up, but many alternative spaces nearby). Wheelchair spot right in front of the hotel.||#7: Dog Friendly - I've saved our favourite part for last: we brought our pug Luigi, who received a warm welcome that included a dog bed, food and water bowls, and a bag of local doggie treats. Doggie waste bags at the front desk. Being able to have him with us for the stay was game-changing.||Thank you Hew & Draw for a stay that truly felt like we were cherished guests.

Had a wonderful night at the Hew and Draw. The room was spacious and spotless. We had a lovely meal and sampled the extensive beer selection at the Boomstick Brewing Co. and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the following day. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again!
