Sylvia's B&B est de loin le meilleur endroit pour demeurer à Terre-Neuve. Très bonne situation géographique près de Gros Morne. Sylvia est une hôtesse accueillante, toujours prête à nous aider, qui nous offre des chambres très propres et spacieuses. Le déjeuner est délicieux, surtout avec les scônes et les galettes à la mélasses cuisinés chaque matin.Merci Sylvia!

Rocky Harbour est proche de l'attraction numéro 1 de Terre-Neuve: Parc national Gros Morne et son tour de bateau sur le Westbrook Pond. Donc ce fut super pour nous deux de trouver ce B&B tenu par Sylvia. Il est situé dans leur maison neuve et tout y est très propre. Le lit est un Queen comfortable. J'ai apprécié les belles serviettes, la crème à main, le savon et le gel pour le bain en quantité. Le déjeuner chaud est bien et le prix est très raisonnable $95. C'est l'endroit oû j'en ai eu le plus pour mon argent.

My husband and I stayed with Sylvia two nights and enjoyed our time immensely. We had a comfortable queen bedroom with ensuite with access to a bright and cheery common room. The fully equipped kitchen was available all the time. Sylvia was welcoming and let us know what was happening in the area... places we might want to go and shows we might want to see. A delicious breakfast was served around a long table so guests have an opportunity to visit and share.. A washer and dryer are available too which is a bonus when travelling.

Our first visit to Newfoundland started in Rocky Harbour. We travelled with another couple and we all really enjoyed our three night accommodations. The continental breakfast/coffee was substantial and delicious. The location is close to a number of must see towns and attractions (Gros Morne).. The Seaside restaurant in Trout River and the Anchor Pub in Rocky Harbour with Anchor's Away band were great. Sylvia's B&B had comfortable beds and was the place is kept very clean. Sylvia was quite helpful with any tourist type questions we asked. We were very happy with everything.

Sylvia and Bruce were very welcoming hosts. The building was specifically designed as a B & B and therefore well appointed. There is a large dining area on the main floor with a lovely lounge and bedrooms on the upper level. The accommodations are immaculate. The continental styled breakfast was great. This is your best bet for Rocky Harbour. We stayed here one night but wished that our other two nights in Gros Morne had been booked here.

Sylvia’s was recommended to us by another B and B owner in Rocky Harbour who could not accommodate our dates. Sylvia’s is wonderful. Nice room-we were in #4-more than enough for breakfast and immaculately clean. Sylvia is very friendly and informative about the area. We stayed 2 nights and are back for 1 more night in a couple of days

Sylvia and Bruce are warm and welcoming, the rooms are spotless, kitchen and upstairs lounge and outdoor balcony all great places to share stories with other travellers. Breakfast is delicious and includes Sylvia's home scones and spreads. Scones, fresh fruit and drinks are offered any time of day.

Clean and tidy room, sufficient hot water, clean sheets, etc. Breakfast was not the best on this trip (had to ask for egg and then it was only hard boiled on offer). Sylvia was polite but not too interested in going out of her way (asked if I could do a small laundry but she said no). I suppose by the end of the season the hosts are getting a little weary, but I'm not sure we'd stay there again. Maybe it was just a personality clash between us... but a good bed which is often the main thing!
