We just returned home after a 16 day tour of Spain,Portugal and Morocco.
It was a disaster and we never bargained for a trip like this.We were promised 3 star hotels , but we got less than 2 star hotels in Morocco.They were dirty, plumbing not working satisfactorily, rooms had sewage smells. Torn and tattered towels in bathrooms.When the management was informed they did not care.
The food was horrible, stale and insipid.
On September 4th I had the included dinner at Hotel Menzeh Zalagh and in the early morning hours I started vomiting and diarrhea. This continued the next day and the tour director got a doctor down to my hotel room to check me up.I missed the activities including the optional show which I paid for on the 5th.
About 75 per cent of our tour group were down with upset with stomach, vomiting and diarrhea which was contacted from the hotels in Morocco.
The tour director and the local guides were very knowledgeable. but they kept on repeating the stories and anecdotes which became very boring at times.
About four complete days of the tour were spent on travelling from one place to the next and it was very tiring and boring. We were not taken to any sights, museums, monuments in Madrid and it was just a drive by.Toledo which is a jewel should have been an included tour in Madrid.

My husband and our best friends just returned from a February safari vacation in Kenya and Tanzania. We visited the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the Amboseli National Park (with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro), Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area (including the Ngorongoro Crater), and Serengeri National Park. It was an amazing adventure! We saw the "big five" and then a whole lot more!

Our guide while in Kenya, Josh (Evans as he liked to be called), was terrific. He made learning about the animals and their habitat enjoyable and was very entertaining. He has eyes like an eagle! He spotted two cheetahs from such a distance that we needed to look with binoculars to find them and it was still a challenge. He got us up close and personal with them as well as many other animals and birds. One of the highlights was witnessing the birth of Wildebeest with hyenas circling. Both awe inspiring and disturbing at the same time......all part of the circle of life. We were sad to part with him when moving on to Tanzania and felt that our next guide had very large shoes to fill.

We were pleasantly surprised when we met our new guide Elia. Just as professional, knowledgeable, charming, and entertaining as Josh. We witnessed the the awesome expanse of the Serengeti with Wildebeest, Zebras, and Gazelle from horizon to horizon as far as the eye could see during the great migration. He was able to find a rare Black Rhino which was a real treat! The Ngorongoro Crater was breathtaking and beautiful teaming with animals.

Our accommodations were both huts and canvas "glamping" tents with beautiful wood floors and showers. They left nothing to be desired. It was unbelievable to have such great lodging, food and service in such remote areas. The hydro is a bit of a challenge since they operate on solar power and generators so there are specific periods where there is no power. We did not find it to be much of a problem since we were out on safari during most of the black out periods. Even the rough roads that provided us with an "African Massage" added to the overall experience.

A special thank you to Franklin of Cosmos who drove us from Arusha to Kilimanjaro to catch an international flight home to Canada. We had booked our own accommodations in Kilimanjaro online to stay overnight. When we arrived at the "hotel", it was not as advertised by a long shot and we did not want to stay. Franklin drove us to a different location, Planet Lodges, which was lovely. We were so grateful to him. I realized in the late afternoon that I was missing my prescription sunglasses. The hotel manager kindly contacted Franklin to see if I had left them in the van. Franklin found them and drove back to our hotel at 9 pm that night to return them to me. Service way above and beyond!

Our experience with Cosmos was first class from start to finish. We would highly recommend them! Thank you to all of the many people who made our stay in Kenya and Tanzania a dream come true.

We recently took the above tour, All we want to add here is that it was excellently managed, credit goes to Joe our coach director, who ensured that timing was adhered by everyone, he was well versed in the history of each and every area and yes the driver who ensured that no time is lost. He was available till the last day to see us off

I did the moultry country Europe trip from Amsterdam to Germany to Austria to Italy to Switzerland to Paris it was the absolute best tour very high-paced which I like and the tour guide Patricia was absolutely phenomenal she is so knowledgeable so friendly her energy is intoxicating she is just an amazing to our guide I recommend this tour and Company everything is well knocked out organized and if you're lucky enough to get Patricia and Antonio as the driver you will be set they are to of the absolute best

Went on there heart of the rockies tour recently,,not so much as a free breakfast but the whole groupe being left at the hotel with nothing to eat in the rain,,the tour guide made a remark because i complained about the supper we ordered was not fit to eat,,,what did we expect for her to pay for our supper,,,NO YOU DON,T HAVE TO PAY FOR OUR SUPPER..but a drive into town should have been offered but this was outside of the drivers hours was there excuse,,,so this is the first tour and it will be the last with cosmo tours and if they asked for gratuites up front ,,don,t fall for it ,,, the only thing offered was the buchard garden tour ,,every thing else is optional,,, so if you don,t like whats being offered your left with nothing to do,,, enouph said.
