I've been planning to check out this trail for a while. Yesterday, I finally got the chance to do so. It was worth it. The trail is located behind UTSC. It's paved and surrounded by lots of trees. I even saw two deer. The fall colours and the creek were beautiful. I loved the chairs along the trail to sit and enjoy the scenery. It wasn't crowded, which was a plus. You can take different routes, and I stayed until sunset, which was beautiful. The trail also leads to old Kingston Rd.

Absolutely loved the fall colors on the walk. I went there yesterday all by myself and had a great time. Highly recommended for those who want to unwind after hectic weeks of work. TTC accessible, I took the 905B back and forth. From bus stop its just 2/3 mins walk to the trail. You can spend around 2hrs of time at the trail. Not difficult trail, there are few sitting arrangements. I noticed two entrances of the trail. There are many small animals like squirrels on the trail which I liked. Highly recommended.

It's a fabulous winding path nestled amongst the trees and bushes of the valley behind UTSC campus. You can take short cuts with the stairs if that's your preference between the campus to the valley grounds below. Or you can sit on the benches and bask in sunshine. I went July 11 after a rainfall and the grounds seem so lush and alive. It's pretty much peak berry season and I find eating the ripe wild red raspberries right off the bushes to be a magical food experience. You can ride or walk for quite some distance through the interconnected valleys, but if you are doing a round trip, then don't forget to account for your effort at the end going uphill. Enjoy!

Highly recommended, I had a great time with my family, the forest area is well maintained and the hiking areas are in excellent condition, for the first time we met a reindeer making our walk even more special. There is much more to see.

Top part at UTSC has a ramp that goes halfway down, with a mobility scooter charging station on a few of the benches along the way. Whole ramp is about a 10 minute walk, and connects to Highland Creek's trail. It also connects to Morningside Park via a bridge (the brown bridge near the end of UTSC's paved ramp).

The front entrance of the trail is at UTSC, nestled outside the Starbucks and Humanities Wing.

The newly built portion by UTSC was very nice, with lots of paths and places to sit. It was wheelchair accessible (with a wheelchair charging station midway down the path). You can also walk into the forest area and along the creek toward Morningside Park. Not too busy when we went, and it was not too difficult for our little one to do the trek. Parking on campus was $4/hrs when we went.

We enjoyed a stroll through the valley land trail today, just to get out and get some much needed exercise & fresh air. We appreciated the very well maintained wheelchair accessible (walker/rollator) paved paths, close by parking, beautiful architecture & breath taking views! although it will really be something of beauty come the spring and summer months, we will definitely come back! ♡
