We had the best time on our all day boat tour of Voyageurs National Park with Captain Tim. His knowledge of the park and the history of the area was extraordinary and he really gave us a complete experience. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better experience! Highly recommend!

This tour was easily the highlight of our trip to Minnesota. Tim made the tour very fun and informative. He was super friendly & it was cool to hear a local’s perspective of the park. We did the 6 hour tour to Kettle Falls which ended up being a private tour with just Tim, my dad, and myself. I believe the capacity is 6 people, so you know it’s going to be a small group no matter what. We covered quite a long distance in this trip, with plenty of stops and stories along the way. The Kettle Falls hotel has a quality restaurant with totally decent prices, plus Tim brought drinks for us to have on the boat. Highly recommended for anyone staying near International Falls!

What an adventure! We rented a couple of kayaks to paddle out on Rainy Lake to Little American Island. It took a while to get our bearings, as the map provided to us didn't have an oriented direction or compass rose, but thankfully we had both the Voyageurs park map and our cell phone apps to guide us. The adventure is definitely more akin to sea kayaking, and highly recommend mosquito netting when visiting the Rainy Lake City portion of the trip. We had to turn back early at that location because they were so fierce, we had trouble seeing. From the water, we saw beautiful wildlife like deer wading on the shore, diving loons, and a swimming beaver or muskrat. Binoculars recommended on this one. Overall, a very unique and personal way to explore Voyageurs as the original voyageurs did.

What an absolutely amazing day! Captain Tim shared a wealth of knowledge about the history of Voyageurs and we were able to just be a part of this incredibly beautiful, pristine and remote national park.

Captain Ron gave us a wonderful tour of the lake. Gave us excellent history of area and brought us to the most beautiful spots. The small boat allows you to get closer to everything. Only way to see the lake if you don’t have a boat.

Capt. Tim gave my wife and I an awesome experience on a private boat tour! He is super knowledgeable about the history of the area, very accommodating, and makes it a fun time. The only way to see Voyagers National Park is from the water. We are looking forward to booking again to do another (longer) tour.

What a wonderful trip with a wonderful guide. Tim felt like your best friend in a matter of seconds. He was extremely knowledgeable. He showed us beautiful views with the history and stories that went with the park. We hated for the tour to end. Definitely recommend.
