We had a great experience with Gary and Cheryl. Had boats if you needed them (we used our own) but they were all very clean and updated. The cabins were adorable. Modern electric ranges, refrigerator, microwave and crock pots available. Cable (WiFi) TV, all the comforts of home. Towels supplied. Pots and pans, dish soap. Spacious cabins. We already booked for next year!!!
Plus.....the great fishing is always a plus!

While in area for work, I reached out looking for a room and Cheryl was beyond accommodating. The property is pristine and the dock set up is Fantastic. Highly recommend this place as the owners clearly care. Cheryl's service was above and beyond. Thanks

I have been here two years now and coming again 2024 for 5 weeks. I have gone to Canada now for 15 years and spend 1-2 weeks for total of 5 to 8 weeks. All my resorts have been a good experience for me. Yet this is my top resort. They are friendly very accommodating and will do all they can to make my experience a good one. This will be last resort I will go to as long as I can keep fishing.

Great cabins and location on Lake of The Woods! Fish were biting and weather was great. Hosts Gary and Cheryl very accommodating and attentive. Making it an annual trip! A+++

The fully equipped cabins are delightful and the owners go overboard to ensure you are having a great experience regardless of whether you are planning to go fishing, hunting, birding or simply want to explore the outdoors more generally. Boats and guides are available, but you need to book ahead. People come back to this place year after year, so don't be surprised if it is sold out. Many people stay here in their campers, whereas I prefer a nice cabin with fridge, sink, full furniture and so forth.

Just spent three days of fishing at Harris Hill Resort. Cheryl and Gary run a great resort and made our stay perfect. Rental boats have ample motors and plenty of space. We really enjoyed being able to relax after a day of great fishing in a comfy cabin. The A/C in the cabins and ceiling fans made the cabins comfy even though the daytime temperatures were pretty high. Fishing was great and we caught a lot of fish. We really appreciated the two days we spent with Alex (our guide). He knows the lake and put us on top of great fishing spots. He also makes a mean shore lunch. We’ll definitely be back next year!

We booked with Cheryl and Gary 3 years ago and Covid caused rescheduling until we finally made it to Harris Hill last week. Cheryl was very flexible and attentive during the 3 years of rescheduling and did everything she could to accommodate us.

We had a group of 4 guys up for the week and caught an unbelievable amount of fish, couple of 26+ inch walleyes as well. The cabins are beautiful and provide everything you need. Most importantly, Cheryl, Gary, and their team go out of their way to ensure you have what you need and provide maps of recommended fishing spots. We had an absolute blast at the resort and truly experienced the "world class" walleye fishing that Lake of the Woods has to offer thanks to Cheryl and Gary. They set us up for success the moment we checked in!

I was able to go on a Canadian fishing trip with my 14 year old son and we stayed at Harris Hill Resort for 7 days. Our resort hosts, Gary and Cheryl were great. They were genuinely concerned about the overall happiness of my son. We had purchased the trip with the dinner plan and they spoke to my son about what he would like to eat and did everything to ensure that the meals were something he would enjoy. The boat that we rented was a G3 with a 4 stroke 50hp Yamaha motor which was perfect for the two of us. They were able to supply us with an incredible amount of lake knowledge so that we could catch a lot of fish. The cabin was clean and well equipped for our stay. Overall I had hoped to catch more fish, but that’s on me. The resort is well worth it and would be an excellent choice for any family looking to get away on that Canadian fishing trip (possibly of a lifetime).
