We stayed in the upstairs room for 3 nights in July and it was lovely — exactly as described with nice small touches (green tea available, some ice in the freezer, a few chocolates, etc.). The place was clean and quiet and Maria was a welcoming host. The bed was cozy to sleep in as well. It is close to downtown so perfect to leave your car and just explore the town by foot. Looking forward to our next visit!

I grew up in Nelson and have very fond memories of this home and visiting Mrs. Emory with my grandmother, Emily Sharp. We would be served tea in the living room where the present dental office is located. Imagine my surprise when my husband discovered this little gem, Mistiso’s Place, and booked a suite, the Kokanee, for our stay. We have just returned home from our third time staying at Mistiso’s (Silver King suite) and it feels like I bring a little bit of Nelson back home with me. Maria’s attention to details - a cook’s dream of a well stocked kitchen, beautiful linens on a comfortable bed, complimentary coffee and tea - all add to a feeling of being a valued guest. And the proximity to down town shopping, eateries and coffee shop is great. Thank you Maria.

The 2 rooms we rented forc3 days were the Valhalla and Selkirk upstairs. Check in was easy, parking was perfect if street and the rooms were very clean and charming. There was AC but a nice breeze blew through the unit. Coffee was fresh and provided. I definitely would recommend this place for the awesome location to the eclectic downtown of Nelson

Nothing over looked in this classic characterally furnished abode in a prime downtown location.
Steps away from restaurants, coffee shops and the Co-op which happens to be my favorite.

My hiking group comprised of six active seniors recently spent the weekend at Mistiso's Place. We could not be more please with our experience! We had plenty of room, all the essentials we needed and each had our own bed. The property was clean and the furnishings created a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We were close to downtown and a great grocery co-op for our needs. We would highly recommend Mistiso's for your next visit to Nelson!

Gorgeous getaway! Centrally located, great atmosphere

Mistiso's offers a wonderful getaway! Our suite supplied all necessary amenities with extra attention to the small details (like knitted slippers)! The full kitchen allowed us to prepare several large meals with ease. The layout of the suite is easy and efficient; the space is really well used and beautifully decorated, which makes it feel really comfortable!

The location is ideal with easy walking distance to all downtown attractions. Maria is incredibly warm and hospitable. She offered some great suggestions for activities and downtown events (like live bands and swing dancing). We had a really lovely weekend in Nelson and our stay at Mistiso's was definitely a large part of what made our stay so great!
