Notice how all the best reviews are from 5+ years ago? Not a coincidence.

This was a very poor experience. The cabins they offered were infested with mice and the fishing did not live up to the expectations they gave (not anywhere close). I can live with subpar fishing, but the mice situation was far from acceptable. Poop everywhere and they did not give us a heads up about it at all. Also - they ghosted us afterwards when we asked about the experience.

Unless you want to wake up to mice every night and not catch your trophy fish, choose a different company.

Nice outpost. Good boats/motors. Good fishing. If you have a problem during your week there don’t expect Jordan to fix it.
Our water heater went out on the third day and after assuring us he’d take care of it, he never showed up. Cold showers are breathtaking.

My father has been organizing a fishing trip through CFF for over 16 years. We have fished every lake they have. The fishing is great, price is reasonable, and the amenities have kept improving the last 10 years.

total disappointment. Now he is deleting my review.

Mice poop everywhere. Day and night mice running around cabin. Dead mice stinking up kitchen in bucket of water trap.

Fishing not near expectations. Was told 6-12 36-42 inch pike a day. Did not see one

Walleye weee hit and miss. Enough for dinner but but in abundance as stated.

Cash in hand. Doesn’t not care anymore. Be careful who you book with

I have been fishing with Canadian Fly-In Fishing (CFF) since 1982. And over the years this has become the best week of the year! We start talking about the next trip on the drive home after leaving Red Lake. The fishing is great and the camps are all top notch. I recommend CFF to anyone thinking about a fly in.

That was 1964 I was 8. That's when Jim Thomas Outdoors was on Channel 9 Chicago Sundays. My father, myself, and Dad's fishing and hunting buddies met Jim at the Chicago Sports Show. It was held down in the Stockyards at the Amphitheater. He was the front and his mother and father ran the office up in Red Lake Ontario. She was a wonderful person. With her red hair, I'll never forget her and the many memorable trips that followed. The fishing was always great. That was way before cabins. Double Fly Tents, plywood floor 4 spring mattress cotts and a small pot belly wood burning stove/heater. Robert's South was my fav. Think I was up 5-6 times.
