This bucket list trip did not disappoint. It was one of the best trips I have ever taken. We loved every minute of it...from the animal experiences, the accommodations, the food and our wonderful hosts! Everything was planned perfectly. Dee and Ronnie really know South Africa and it makes such a difference having hosts that can plan the very best experiences for you along the way. It is a trip that will be in my memories for many years to come!

I travel the world but my Africa trip is definitely my favorite! Ronnie and Dee were fabulous guides with so much experience and lots of fun. In addition to the fabulous safaris, we saw Victoria Falls, Capetown where we got to pet a baby cheetah and ride a funicular to the top of Table Mountain, Blyde River Canyon and Graskop Gorge. The sunrise and sunset safari game drives were spectacular and seeing so many animals up close in their natural habitat is an experience I will never forget….truly a once in a lifetime African adventure!

This was a trip that went far beyond our already-high expectations! The animals, the food, the camaraderie, and the new friendships will never be forgotten. Ronnie & Dee Pitcher are the perfect hosts and guides. Everything was "first class", and worth every penny!

Our African safari is the best holiday we have ever taken. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Dee and Ronnie Pitcher were so knowledgeable and they went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. We were quite a diverse group of travellers they made us into a team that interacted very well. Their attention to individual needs was recognized and very much appreciated.

Ann and I travel a lot. We have agreed never to repeat but to continue to look for new adventures.
Hosted Africa trip primarily to South Africa was an exception. We took the same trip 3 years ago and decided to repeat it again.
There are many reasons for the repeat.
The spectacular scenery.
The vast variety of animals seen up close and in their environment.
The comraderie of a terrific group of people.
The wonderful folks working in the camps and lodges.
All that is wonderful but the real glue is Ronnie and Dee, our hosts. They literally took care of every detail without a hitch. They are really caring and deliver a fabulous product.
We took 2 couples with us on our word that this is a trip of a lifetime and would echo everything said above.

After throughly researching many safari tours and reviewing their own past client reviews, we decided on Hosted Africa with Dee and Ronnie. If you are looking for exceptional safari experiences and SO much more this is the tour. If you are looking for
top quality for your travel dollar this is the tour. If you are looking for highly experienced
professional, friendly tour organizers with a wonderful sense of humour (we laughed and laughed) this is the tour. We had several must haves. Johannesburg, Capetown, Victoria Falls, wine tasting and of course SAFARIS. We experienced all of these and SO much more! Victoria Falls was spectacular. I recommend seeing it both by foot and by helicopter. Wine tasting was fabulous, from whites to reds, the pinotage was our favourite. We also had the opportunity to try traditional African food, loved it. This tour has become our #1 travel tour. Our trip to the Galapagos is now #2 and that says a lot. I can’t stress how absolutely unforgettable this tour experience was. We are looking forward to traveling on future tours with Dee and Ronnie. My last advise, SIGN UP!

This truly was the trip of a lifetime. There were so many wow moments from start to end. Every aspect of the trip was meticulously planned and carried out by our wonderful Hosted Africa guides; we simply went along on the magical ride. Food and accommodations were excellent and the wildlife experience was breathtaking. 10/10. It just couldn’t have been any better.

This was truly a trip of a lifetime, the animals, the accommodations, the food and drink and of course the group. Ronnie and Dee think of everything so all you need to do is show up when they tell you. To think you can travel to three countries, have three in continent flights, never worry about a thing for 3 weeks, and see everything you’d ever want to see from the cities to the bush without a hitch is truly a credit to our hosts. If you’ve ever considered this trip then Hosted Africa is clearly the only choice to make.
