We had an excellent trip with our guides. They went beyond the required trip time to ensure that we saw whales and sea lions. The boat is a great intermediate size: not the tiny zodiaks, but not the bigger boats that cram in 150 people. We didn't ever feel like we were fighting for a spot at the railing to see the whales.
100% recommend.
Note: Take layers! And a toque and gloves are also recommended, especially if you like to ride on the bow of the ship in the wind!

Very knowledgeable guides, good price. We saw orcas, sea lions, sea otters and an eagle. No humpbacks on our tour but lots the following day! Our group was smaller (only 12 people on board) so there was lots of space to move about. Dress warmly in layers like they suggested - it is windy and cool out in open water. The captain will take good quality photos of animal sightings that are posted on their Facebook page.

I highly recommend this tour. The boat was very comfortable….not too big and not too small with lots of room to move around. We saw lots of whales and other wildlife. The staff did a great job pointing out the whales and explaining their behavior. It was nice to have a naturalist on board to answer questions and describe what we were seeing. They knew exactly where to go to have the best experience!

We had a wonderful your on May 29. Everything was so organized, we received a reminder email as well as the waivers ahead of our tour, and the day of we received a notice that due to an unexpected absence, we were being moved to a bigger boat than usual. This was a seamless change and the boat was a great size for the group of about 30 people. Dress in layers like their website and emails advise, and keep in mind it will be colder on the sea! The crew was incredibly informative, friendly and kind. We saw a humpback whale, seals, a sea otter and a river otter! I would certainly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Victoria!
