Local heliport with service between Victoria or Nanaimo and Vancouver (Airport or Downtown). I have used this on quite a few locations for business meetings where the ferry just wont do it and the weather may not be ideal for float planes and airport to airport takes up too much of the day. As much as I like Harbor Air, the Helijets are much more fun and seem to handle poor weather better (plus they can fly in the dark and the fog). 12 seaters, the jets are comfortable enough, albeit noisy. They are also more expensive by far and luggage is at an optimal. The offer charter services and when not riding, its fun to watch them take off.

I would give 10 stars if I could! From booking to taking the actual flight everything was better than expected. First off, I made a mistake with my booking (100% my fault) and Jay Minter immediately assisted me in fixing it even though it was my error. We received a warm reception from all staff, crew, and pilots in Victoria at boarding as well as on our return journey in Vancouver. We were offered complimentary beverages and snacks in the lounge and asked if we require a taxi when we landed which we did and was all arranged. If all of this wasn't enough the actual journey of flying was amazing too! We were fortunate to fly on one of the most beautiful days of the year and flying over Victoria and Vancouver is absolutely stunning so really lucked out with the weather too. A fabulous experience from start to finish and will definitely fly with Heli-jet next time we go to Vancouver, highly recommend!

Great way to get to Vancouver quickly. Great service. Fast. Comfortable. Super clean.

A couple of tips/considerations that may help:

- kids under 12 fly free with an adult ticket (1:1)
- parking is free
- lots of tasty snacks
- wine/beer is free (afternoon flights, and if that’s your thing)
- if you can plan your trip around their “off peak” times, the cost is significantly less.
- you only need to be 20 minutes early.
- vs. the ferry, the flights land in downtown Vancouver instead of 45+ minutes away in Tsawwassen. Couple this with a 35 minute crossing time instead of a 1.35 hour crossing time and it’s a compelling value.

Flew from Vancouver to Victoria a couple of days ago. We cannot fault any aspect of the service provided by the team at Helijet. They were quick to reply to emails, the lounge at Vancouver was very comfortable and more than we expected, the staff were very friendly and helpful, great smooth flight, and friendly helpful shuttle service on arrival.
