We spent a full two and a half weeks camping around Alberta and bc area. We ended up at family tree and fell in love! First off , the owners are welcoming, hilarious, personable and SO kind. First stop the office is SO cool and full of neat antiques it’s like no other site we’ve stayed at. There’s also an outdoor pool and let me tell you - it’s kept immaculate. Our kids had so much fun. There’s beautiful trees everywhere and a lovely spot by the river. What a gem we found. This will forever be a spot we stop at anytime we camp in bc!!!

We've been traveling through Canada for four months and have stayed at many campsites. None of them offered as poor value for money as this one.

It's extremely noisy due to the adjacent Trans-Canada Highway on one side and the railway on the other.

No sewer (they send you to the gas station). No WiFi. The pitch is on the grass, which is very soft (because it's wet).
The drinking water has a brownish tint and comes out of the tap with small particles.
One bright spot: the pool is clean.

The worst part was the toilets; they weren't cleaned daily and were disgusting.

We wouldn't recommend this site; you can find better spots even in July.

We spent a wonderful week here at the Family Tree Riverside RV and Campground. The grounds have lots of open space and wonderful majestic willow and cedar trees. They also have a large, clean, swimming pool and park equipment for kids of all ages. All 4 children loved every moment. They also have access to the Eagle River for the kayaks and paddle boards that are available for rent. Max even drove us up river and helped us into the river and out of the river. Truly the most beautiful 4 hour trip. Their entire family’s friendly, helpful, attitude made our stay so pleasant.
Thank you so very much Max and Sandra and family. We will be back!

Wish it was possible to give zero stars. Would not stay here again. Very unorganizedー was told tent area was "wherever there's space" and once we setup everything and in the middle of making dinner were told we were in someone's spot and had to move. The spot we were originally assigned to had someone in OUR spot so we ended up having to setup in the middle of nowhere without a picnic table or fire pit. Ground was not level anywhere making it a nightmare to set up the tent. Bathroom was dirty with no hot water and brown water from the taps. Went to the office at 7:15pm to get ice and it was already closed. Talked to some other guests staying there and they had similar experiences. Very noisy due to highway traffic and a train that goes by every few hours honking its horn.

Our family has spent over 20 years in Sicamous camping and this year we switched it up and tried Family Tree Riverside. The Hosts were exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. When we arrived Sandra guided us to our campsite and helped us maneuver our trailer in and did the same for my parents. We were at the front of the park in Sites 14 and 15. With Sandra’s expertise we were able to have our trailer and my parents RV front doors facing each other.
The park itself is absolutely stunning, beautiful green grass and mature trees.
It is along the Trans-Canada highway so you do hear traffic but that was expected and with the beautiful mature trees it was not a bother at all.

The washrooms were always clean and the ability to enjoy a hot shower in a normal sized shower (we are all 5’9-6’3 tall) for only $1 was amazing.

While there was no sewer hook ups, the park does offer to empty your tanks with notice. They do this in the afternoon so other guests are not impacted from the sound of their machine or the inevitable smell from emptying black and grey tanks. There is No Sani-Dump at this park and as we were pulling out early on our last day, Sandra told us there was a Sani-dump just down the road at the Shell Gas station. Which was slightly inconvenient but nothing life shattering.

The park did have issues with water pressure and water while we were there. A few times a day we would have no water flowing to our trailer due to the demand in the park, which was a bit frustrating but both Sandra and Mac warned us and apologized for the inconvenience. They also recommended to all guests to fill their fresh water tanks in their trailers to help avoid any disruptions.

Unfortunately there really isn’t any river access, you can climb down a steep sandy bank but we were warned it would be difficult to get back up.

Our stay overall was pretty fantastic. This park would be fantastic for families with small children as there is two playgrounds and a pool.
We definitely will come back.

We had a wonderful week at the campground. Sylvia and Mac were very accommodating and you really feel like you're staying at a family member's place. Any questions you might have, they are just a text away. The only issue you may have is the turn off from the highway kind of sneaks up on you. Hopefully, they get a little better signage soon as you don't want to miss staying at this campground!

Matt and Sandra were really helpful and kind. Went out of their way to make sure the kids were cooled off and were having fun. Great people, and beautiful scenery.
Surrounded by mountains and a river, as well as a great view of the stars at night.
Only thing I'd change if possible, is the right side exit/ left side entrance.
There is one closer to the store/ office, but it's harder to aim for.
There's also no signs for an entrance or an approach on the highway (currently)

Park-like is an understatement! Beautifully manicured, spacious, clean, fantastic pool! Never mind the hosts Sandra and Mac are beyond lovely! If I could give it more then 5 stars I would.
