Hi, On Tuesday, my alternator went on my 2015 Honda Fit. I very much appreciated CAA coming as quickly as they did to rescue me. I was uncomfortable with the amount of traffic around my vehicle. Also, I was grateful for the CAA's driver's knowledge on what was probably needing fixed on it. He was right, it needed a new Alternator! Thanks Kindly, KLyn 🙂

TAKE YOUR TRAVEL NEEDS ELSEWHERE!!
Popped in on a Saturday about 45 minutes before closing to speak with a travel agent. After giving up being on hold trying to phone them. We were looking for some advice on our pending trip to Europe. We were hoping to have a brief discussion, maybe get some pamphlets to take home and expected we'd have to book an appointment to come back in. The receptionist spoke with the Travel agent who then got up from her desk and spoke to us from about 30 feet away. In an exasperated tone, she told us she was too busy to talk to us today, and asked " What do you want anyway?" When we told her, she replied, " Well first off, there's a $150.00 (Might have been $115.00) consultation fee and you need your passports before we can do anything." The receptionist offered us an appointment next week which we vehemently declined. I understand being busy, I
understand we arrived late in the day, but this lady was beyond rude. Don't worry about making us feel like the biggest annoyance in your day, we most definitely will not be returning to burden you in future. This interaction made us want to cancel our CAA membership. If they weren't the only gig in town for this type of road service, we would.

Called for assistance, when trapped in a rural location while snowed in. Did not have cellphone reception at the vehicle. Had I been unable to get to safety by walking, we would have frozen to death. CAA did not confirm that my wife and I received service, and the tow truck never reached the vehicle. When I called the following day, they were indifferent and did not take responsibility. Thankfully we were not injured, but this is a grave oversight that could have had a very serious impact. Major lack of responsibility/care for their clients. Do not trust them with your safety.

Awful experience with Paula from New Brunswick in customer service. She was rude with me on the phone. Paula continued to tell me that she could not tow my truck even though it was towed 1 month ago to the same place. Awful service, last time I called CAA the tow truck driver had me pushing the truck took over an hr to get it on the truck..... now I'm being told another 1 hr before they can come so going to take 4 hrs 🙃

Ill warn people not to get caa in atlantic canada..they will screw you around..find a reason to not help you..people are cancelling their caa fast as they can..their insurance lies..if you get in a accident they take month to pay..worst company ever..how do i know? I work for a company that towed for them for years..nothing but caa bs and lies..call canadian tire roadside..better service and they pay their tow bills..caa does not.

Terrible service constantly. *Owned a truck for 4-6 years with them, moved to bc, came back from BC tried getting a new car under an old plan*
Had a quote written up by a wonderful young lady, she made me an appointment for the next morning, so i could think it over. And had a nasty woman called me at 9am, and before i could even speak she started telling me how she had to get her manager and that not how they do things there and that since i ended my contract on oct 18 2022, they refuse my insurance now because my new one would still be part of my old plan as its oct 2nd 2024. not oct 18th 2024. And well thats not how they do things there? they just wanna charge me more money! slimeball tactic, disgusting. Find another insurance company for your sake.

Great service. I purchased the plus membership and had no problems getting a tow after getting private quotes for almost $1000 for a single tow I decided to get the membership. Saved me $850 already this year.
