This is a Wharf district within the Halifax harbour boardwalk. It is lined with restaurants of different cultures. There is a common area with tables and chairs. There is also a set of stairs that lead into the water, symbolizing the merger of land and sea. Going upward by large wooden-slatted steps is a set of stairs that lead to a small artist-created tide indicator. There are rings of lights that illuminate higher or lower to indicate the level of the tide.

My first time in Halifax. I did not expect such a modern architecture around the wharf! Beautiful. I loved the stairs fading into the water. Loved the art all around, well lit at night. What a lovely evening stroll!
