Attended a dog show here in the park and was fantastic!! The grounds were well kept and clean except for some ruts and dips and holes around here and there that ended up being ankle turners for some people and for the other person who was with me. Other then that it was a very enjoyable time and the setup was excellent!! Very nice area as well, clean and tidy and pleasant.

Wow...just looked at the skating schedule for the holidays. They changed the schedule and are only offering public and family skating for 1 day....thursdays. Unbelievable how this arena cares so little about families and family skating for our community. Last year they were the only arena that didn't even open up for the public. Carleton Place/Beckwith arena have family/public skating opened up the entire 2 weeks everyday for families and it's free! There's a village that cares about it's families.

A bit of Richmond's sport history is displayed on the Goulbourn Sports Hall of Fame. John Leroux, Steve Hull and Brad Tieney, a CFL Grey Cup Champion with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Needs to be updated. But who has the cash?
Richmond Memorial Community Center and Arena ,holds small clues and artifacts of Richmond's rich history. The 150th Anniversary Quilt, depicts the rich history of farm and growth. Artistical , it hangs outside the community hall on the second floor. The upstairs Community Hall has elevator access for people with sore backs, too. Clean. Most Important though: an emergency Heart Defibulator is located on the first floor near the Canteen. Eat well.
