We had an amazing day snowmobiling with our guide Brett. We did the all day intermediate back country tour. Brett assessed our various skill levels and encouraged and pushed us individually to try new things within our comfort level. He is very knowledgeable about everything snowmobiling including avalanche safety. At the end of the day I felt the most confident in my skills than ever. We all had a great day!

Incredible experience! My partner and I did the extreme package with Brett and he was an amazing guide - very knowledgeable and an awesome rider himself. Brett made sure we both were comfortable, challenged, and enjoying ourselves immensely despite the huge gap in mine and my partners skill levels. It was better than we expected, and we will be going back. Highly recommended the extreme backcountry package and Rocky Mountain Riders as a whole.

Rocky Mountain Riders was such a great experience! Our tour guide was Dan, he was very respectful, helpful and clear. Dan is also a white water rafter guide and we are looking forward to reconnecting with him for another great adventure! Thank you Dan! 🙂

We have just been on the full day trip and had a blast! Our guide was Brett, the most chill, friendly guy. He was also super experienced (been snow mobiling this area from the age of 6 or 7!) and gave great instructions and genuine encouragement. The waivers, safety briefing, and instructions felt over whelming to start with, but Brett made sure that the ride was both safe and exciting. Even this absolute-beginner, relatively unfit, 50-something Kiwi mum coped with having her own snow mobile! Be warned, though, if you're unfit, it's an all-over body work-out, and you might feel your muscles the next day!

We used Rocky Mountain Riders shuttle service for our wedding in Golden. They were awesome! They arrived exactly the times they said they would, and got all our guests home safe at the end of the night. The wedding party also had a blast being driven around to our photo locations after the ceremony. Thanks again for the great service on our wedding day!

We had the best time on our snowmobile tour! We booked this trip day of after having another company cancel on us last minute, and the process was so seamless. The rental process was super easy and each step was explained very clearly.

Our guide Dan was INCREDIBLE - we were all first timers and we felt super comfortable and safe. He gave excellent, clear instructions and was also a great help during tricky maneuvers. We were also on a bit of a time crunch and he was super considerate about getting us back on time!

10/10 experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable excursion!

Just got back from 3 days of the extreme tour with Travis and Alex as guides. The equipment was great, the service was tremendous, Jasmine offered amazing customer service when setting up the trip and throughout our weekend making sure things were going well, and most of all the guides were the best. Travis and Alex took great care of us getting us to the areas comfortably and then providing some extra guidance and tips to get the most out of our time in the most insane snow conditions I have ever seen. The views were breathtaking, the powder was deeper then I knew was possible and the terrain made for all kinds of fun. I will definitley be back and tell all of my friends where to go for their trips.

We had a great time with Rocky Mountain riders on a full day tour! We got picked up at the agreed time from Canmore in a Chevy Express and Dutch Bastienn our driver/tour guide was very good right from the outset. When we got to the resort checking in was easy, and we got kitted up in some extra gear. Whilst their website does say bring everything you can, they have a fair selection of rental items to improve your comfort on the trip. We were then given a 15 min intro to the equipment and the instructions, and followed Bastienn out. He went at a fair pace for us (a group of 4 beginners) and kept a watchful eye. Hot chocolate and a cookie around 45 mins in, then some more riding to the beautiful lunch spot (what3words spot ///blissfully.uncrowded.beehive). Then a ride back to the first stopping spot for some free riding. We then got back to base, and into the van and home via a quick stop to purchase any coffee/snacks etc for the drive home. Transfer to/from Canmore was 2 hours.

I'd give the overall experience about 4.8 stars, the 0.2 is agreeing to some extent with other comments and reviews... Yes they do take a damage deposit, and yes they do take your card details. But if you consider how some people may treat their equipment I can understand why. Our equipment went out in good condition and came back in good condition as we looked after it, and hey - we didn't get "screwed" in any way.

As some feedback for RMR the reviews were a bit worrying to read, so it would be good to know what changes RMR are considering to address those concerns as it was a great experience, and we very nearly didn't do it because of those. It was the complimentary shuttle from Canmore that ultimately swayed us as we don't drive in snow much from the UK! Transparency on the insurance, likely coats of common parts in the event of damages and taking, storage, and destruction of card details would really help.
