What a wonderful place! Excellent plus! The room was clean, comfortable, and really quiet. The hotel is decorated to the highest of standards and I particularly liked the decor in the library/reading room. I was impressed at the thought taken to preserve the history of the building. Breakfast was great. They also had additional area where residents could help themselves to drinks and home made cookies. All the staff were amazing. This place was beyond fabulous and I would highly recommend staying here.

The Larix is an awesome hotel but it needs attention to detail. Cleaning under beds and counters and more thorough dusting in lounge areas. Although it was great to have snacks and beverages available 24/7, the area should be cleaner, including the wall and floor around the garbage bin. For such a unique hotel, I expected
more.

We just had a wonderful experience while staying at the Larix Hotel . The room was tiny but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was better than the normal continental offered by others. The outdoor sauna felt so good, snacks are always available. The evening tapas menu was superb! The location is close to everything; so it lacks nothing! It's perfect!

Great property! Feels very cozy and rustic while also being modern. Staff are very friendly, there's free delicious breakfast and e-bikes are available for guests. The restaurant in the hotel is also great. Only complaint is there's no elevator so if your room is not on the main floor, you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Location is great, close to many shops and places to eat. We'll definitely go again.

Amazing hotel and staff! Had a bit of booking mishap but the staff resolved it quickly and went beyond expectations in making sure we get a good experience. The kitchen staff is so friendly, perfect location and cute outdoor patio. Loved everything and will definitely return!

Love this hotel!! Quaint, comfortable rooms with duvets and soft pillows, a complimentary cookie and drink area, cute public sitting areas with leather couches for groups to visit, and the kindest staff! Also, there's great WIFI and safe, easy parking around the hotel streets. This is my first visit to Kimberley and I highly recommend this hotel as a stopover on the way to Banff or any destination. The hotel staff gave dinner and trail recommendations and provided an extra duvet for the pullout. There is also complimentary breakfast which we haven't tried yet because I'm currently here, but I'm sure it's delicious. Highly recommend!

We hosted my parents' 50th anniversary at The Larix over a few days and the service was above and beyond what we had hoped for or expected! Super kind staff and owner. The food served was incredibly delicious! I haven't experienced service or food like this in years. They truly put their hearts into providing the best experience for their guests and it was very much appreciated. We will be back in the future

Lovely hotel. Lots of little spots to sit and relax. Beautiful lobby. Rooms were small but the bed was very comfortable and the bath products were fantastic. Solid breakfast with great coffee.Only issue was lack of staff at desk during check in and check out. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
