Great atmosphere for a BCHL Bulldogs game while visiting. There's a buzz of excitement in leadup to the game. Great community support by all ages.
Washrooms clean! Guest service hosts and concession stand staff are helpful and friendly.

Okay, so a bit of preface is in order. 2025 seems to be an Eat Crow & Grow year. This is me (yes, fat, 51) #imnotanathlete and the new team. I didn't play this game. I warmed up, and I couldn't get up off the ice. This is extremely bad if you're the goalie. Anyhow, I'm a better Realtor than I am a goalie (for now.) If you need me, I'll be doing squats...until next time.

Oh, p.s. the ice was fabulous, my team super supportive and the ref great.

Almost a year ago, my granddaughter had an accident where she dislocated her knee while skating.

She was skating with the school, and there were no attendants with first aid from the arena present.

My granddaughter lay on the ice for over 20 mins while they called the ambulance, which never came until after a second call. I arrived before they did, and then it took another several minutes to get them there.

It was quite evident her knee was dislocated. To say I was thoroughly disgusted with the way this was handled by the arena is an understatement. School was great, they administered first aid and kept her comfortable until the arena finally got their poop in a group.

Given there are a ton of hockey games there, I would hope the staff had some kind of first aid training and a better response time if the ambulance didn't show up in a speedy enough manner. Call again!!

My granddaughters lower body (buttocks/uninjured leg) was frozen to the ice when I arrived, with two of her support teachers sitting around her.

Thank God they had first aid. If this had been another injury shock, core body temp, etc, would have been an issue.

I get leaving the person where they lay in terms of a potential neck injury, but wouldn't you think this needed a quicker response time?

Why haven't you complained about this before and now are choosing Google to leave this review you may wonder?

It's because I am livid and still dealing with the aftermath of this... My grand has an ortho surgeon appointment this Feb 21 because of this injury.

Do better.

Because if I were a litigious person, I do believe I'd have a case.

The ice rink has an overhead heater. That was the most comfortable I've ever been cheering on our Clippers! The concession seved up a tasty chicken burger, my son said the chicken strips & fries were great!
