We booked two rooms here for a night and couldn't have been happier. It was quiet and peaceful - there's a hiking trail that leaves directly from behind the motel. The rooms were well-appointed; my bed was super comfortable, and the ceiling fans kept the rooms very cool, even on a hot day. We could walk from the motel to the tubing activity (highly recommended!) and restaurants. I met one of the owners as I was checking in, and he couldn't have been kinder. A great place to stay!

We were really pleasantly surprised. The rooms have been recently renovated and are really nice. While it is not on the lake, it is very close and we loved that it was so quiet, with a little wood and not directly facing a main street. The owner was also great. We will stay there again.

Loved staying here, great little motel for a quick trip for my friend's wedding. Great proximity to the 'main' part of town, I'd never been to Lake Cowi area before so was happily surprised how close it was to everything! Rooms were clean and had everything I needed. Great water pressure too! Lol =) Another highlight was the massive elk one late evening just hanging out munching on some trees and then eventually sauntered off into the wooded area behind, so cool to see!!! Would definitely stay here again

We booked a room for Saturday night May 17th 2025. We got an email confirming reservation and being as there’s no front desk it said we’d get another email for check in. We never received an e-mail. We tried calling the hotel but there was no answer and no option to leave a message. A room was never provided. This motel took our money and never provided accommodation. It also is refusing to refund, citing their no refund policy. Like what the heck? I’d understand if we just didn’t show up, but to not provide the service that was paid for AND refuse a refund? This place is sketchy. I’d be very cautious before paying these guys for a room.

Great place to stay in Cowichan Lake! We were on the way to Sombrio but it was getting dark (and the deer were out with a vengence) so we wanted to stop for the night. It was quite late, but the online booking and remote check in was quick and easy.

Room was a small, quaint, tidy space with all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are self-service where the property sends you a code. This is the best hotel I have stayed at. Clean, homely spacious, and updated. I would definitely stay here again.
