Carl is very knowledgeable of Lake of the Woods and best fishing spots to try. He provided all gear and equipment. We enjoyed a delicious shore lunch prepared for us halfway through our day at a beautiful picnic spot. Highly recommend a day on the boat with Carl! We will be booking again next summer when in the area.

Carl guided my husband and I last September. We had a blast with Carl who makes the tastiest shore lunch we had ever experienced in years of fishing in Canada!
We caught a slew of fish. Carl was attentive, prompt and very knowledgeable about not only fishing but the area. He was very flexible and also made sure we had a good time fishing as well as the total experience.
His boat was great and he runs a great fishing guide service and has for years. He is very experienced. We plan on booking again this year!

Carl's knowledge and experience on Lake of the Woods was greatly displayed as he took us to many locations in search of musky. The day involved catching multiple species of fish, including my first musky! Carl was very helpful and fun to spend the day with. I highly recommend fishing with him!

Look ... there's paid fishing guides and then theres fishermen who will take you on an adventure. You *will not* find a better fishing adventure than going with Carl! We caught trophy Pike and Walleye while searching for the elusive Muskie (check!). Constant action, incredible fun, I can't say enough other than one of the best fishing adventures I have ever had (and I have fished a lot). But don't take my word for it, check out the photos.

Having Carl as your guide is without a doubt the way to go! He knows where the big ones are. Catching 40" Northerns while hunting the elusive Musky's of LOTW is mind-blowing. Not to be forgotten; the plentiful, delicious walleye.
Ive been twice so far and getting the next one in the books as we speak.

Wow Carl completely revolutionized the fishing industry In central Canada.

Carl first had the privilege of fishing with me In 2016.

But in return for him spending the day with me, he showed me how to fish like a real man.
I come from Alberta and out here we don’t have much of anything.

I believe I was a boy when I first was acquainted to Captain Carl.

I came back numerous times because Carl has an infectious laugh and he always plays the best music. He loves to meditate every morning and do his gratitude list, he often gets the guest to relish in the moment and he is all about spiritual connections with the environment , Gods ecosystems . He explains the co-dependency of the micro-chasm and macro - chasm .

He taught me how to use a bait caster.

When I met Carl I was drinking everyday. My life was out of control. Carl taught me how to channel my frustration into fishing. He showed me how to meditate and eat a healthy diet.

He also filets fish and does amazing job. Wow bravo !!
He knows how play crib. He knows how to tie knots properly in many different orientations.
