My sister and my niece and I had a great day with our two hour trail ride!! The weather, our guides, Rebecca and Veronica (?), and the horses were all amazing! The trail ride was so beautifully scenic, with winding rivers that we crossed over, some forest, and all kinds of wildflowers along the way! Great for writers of any experience… I’ve never really been on a horse and my niece is an experienced rider. The horses were well cared for and well trained. Would highly recommend!

It was a very enjoyable day and horseback trail ride! The instructors were very nice and knowledge. They helped and conversed throughout the trail ride. The horses were well trained and easy to maneuver for all levels of experience! All in all, 100% recommend!

Amazing staff who were super accommodating when we had to reschedule twice. The trail ride with Rebecca was super fun -- you experience the beautiful water, wildlife, and wilderness of the surrounding area! Would definitely come here again! My partner and I rode Noir and Dakota 🙂

My bestie took me here for my bday and was the most beautiful day. I grew up around horses and haven't have the opportunity to connect with them again until now and I couldn't recommend this tour more. It's such a beautiful and peaceful place... just you, nature and horses 😍. We will definitely be back

I booked a pony ride for my two daughters at Conestogo River Horseback Adventures, expecting two ponies as requested. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find they had only one pony available and a massive horse for the second ride. My older daughter was terrified of the horse and refused to ride, which was understandable given its size, I wouldn't be comfortable on that horse. Disappointingly, the staff offered no refund or even an apology for the mix-up, which felt like a missed opportunity to make things right.

The women on the phone and those working at the stable were friendly, which I appreciated. However, the man I spoke to on the phone was outright rude, which left a sour taste. It seems like the ownership could use some improvement in customer service and communication.

I reluctantly later returned with my youngest daughter, who was still eager to ride a pony. The total cost to me was $75 for just 15 minutes. I should’ve just bought a pony. My older daughter, unfortunately, has sworn off horses entirely after the initial experience, and it really ruined one of the few daddy daughter dates we had planned for the summer.

Overall, the setting is nice, and the staff on-site were pleasant, but the mismanagement of our booking, lack of accountability, and overall cost prevent me from giving a higher rating. I’d recommend they improve their customer service and ensure bookings match expectations.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and they let us walk around and greet all the horses and ponies while we waited for our time slot. The horses are calm and well trained. The trail ride was well organized. It was a great experience for the price!

We arrived late due to traffic. Veronica our guide was understanding and had us saddled and ready to go in no time. The trail was beautiful and scenic. We did 3 or 4 water crossings. I was nervous at first because this was only my second time riding a horse but Veronica was amazing with her instructions and by the last half of the ride I was feeling very comfortable. I road Peanut and she was amazing! Thank you for this awesome experience ! We’ll be back

My husband and I had a beautiful ride, the woman who took us on the trail ride (I believe her name was Veronica) was so nice and knowledgeable. The trails were gorgeous and had parts where you rode through water which I have never done before. I would recommend to anyone in the area looking to go for a beautiful, scenic ride. We are from London and I would drive back for that for sure
