Steve, Anne & Jakob are wonderful warm hosts, the cabins are well equipped & the pool & hot tubs are great! Paddling on the lake is relaxing, especially if you make it out to the sandbags; thank you Anne for a memorable morning out on the lake!

We had a fabulous time at Lake Edge Cottages so much so we have booked again for next year. I have never been to a cottage that is so peaceful and relaxing. The atmosphere is astounding. This is due to the Steve and Anne Wildfong family. They cater to your ever need and look after you like family. This was our first year here and stayed on the waterfront great view and watched the boats travelling through the lake. We were very comfortable everything you needed was anticipated and the beds were the best ever we slept like logs we love that everything was supplied. We went on a guided tour through the locks was very interesting Steve was a fountain of knowledge very interesting. Oh and we went fishing with Captain Jakob and i caught a 4 to 5 pound large mouth bass and was thrilled (hook and worm). Jakob knows all the spots.|Everyone was very friendly as we all love our dogs and enjoy meeting and talking about them. So many things we didn't get a chance to experience and look forward to doing on our next visit. Did I mention all the birds and animals "Outstanding"

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a cozy cottage that exceeded my expectations! Nestled by a serene lake, it offered breathtaking views that made every morning feel like a dream. The personal hot tub was a delightful bonus, perfect for relaxing under the stars after a day of exploration. I loved the complimentary canoe, which allowed me to paddle around the tranquil waters and soak in the natural beauty surrounding me. The private trail was ideal for leisurely walks and immersing myself in nature. To top it all off, the nice fire pit provided the perfect setting for cozy evenings spent roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. This cottage truly felt like a home away from home, and I can't wait to return for another peaceful getaway!

We have been coming to Lake Edge for over 20 years. The rustic nature of the cottages and property, along with the calm and quiet atmosphere provides a welcome break from busy city life. Anne and Steve are wonderful hosts and are always welcoming. Our dog Skye absolutely loves being able to run free and swim everyday. It is as much his vacation as it is ours. We look forward to coming here for at least a few more years.

Lake Edge Cottages is the place to go for a vacation that includes all the family. Steve and Anne are wonderful hosts. Steve helped us as soon as we arrived as our boat battery had died. They were both available whenever you needed them and always willing to offer suggestions for fishing spots or places to go.

We picked the resort for our wedding anniversary because of its location and because we were able to take Paddy (our fur baby) who enjoyed lots of off leash fun and walks on their trails.

The cottages were as described and super comfy beds.

We are looking forward to our next visit.

Super friendly, super relaxing place to stay if your goal us to unwind from your hectic life. The dogs enjoy the lake and the trails, the humans enjoy the peace, the lake, the pool & the beautiful sunsets.|We will definitely be back next year, thank you Steve & Anne for creating a perfect getaway!

It was our first visit to this area. Wer really had a great time at Lakeedge. Anne and Steve are excellent hosts and innkeeprs who were warm, courteous, professional and free to share information and advise. Initially I was hesitant as it was positioned as Pet friendly and we didn't have any pets. But Steve assured us it is also good for humans without pets:-) The rooms were clean with out any pet traces! Highlights were the ambience, location of the cottages which offers a wonerful view of the passing by boats, the greeness (100% solar power), close proximity to Lakefield village, Petroglyphs. The cottages are bit dated, but rustic and functional. The pantoon boat tour of clear lake was really worth it with the narration of local history by our "captain" Steve and the live demonstration of the lock system #27 deftly navigated by Steve and Ann partnership, the villas on the shores were stunning. We threatened Anne that we will be back:-)
