Unforgettable Day on the Water with Outsider Fishing Charters!
We had an absolutely fantastic day out on the water with Chris from Outsider Fishing Charters in Campbell River. From start to finish, Chris was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly friendly. His passion for fishing and the local waters really came through, and he made sure we were all comfortable, engaged, and having a great time.

Everyone in our group caught fish, and Chris went above and beyond to make the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-timer, you're in great hands with Chris. We can't recommend Outsider Fishing Charters highly enough—this was easily one of the highlights of our trip. We'll definitely be back!

Awesome Charter for fishing in Campbell River. The 4 of us caught lots of salmon and cod on our 3 day charter. Chris was great guide to work with (lots of laughs with the group). He was able to show us 3 very different areas with great scenery and fishing. Got to see orcas, dolphins and sea lions during our time. Would definitely recommend coming back and using outside charters again. I'll be recommending to friend as well.

Best experience in Campbell River! Everything about this experience was amazing! It was my first time fishing on the ocean and Chris was a great guide and teacher. We had so many opportunities to reel in some salmon. Chris was super fun and knowledgeable throughout the day. We also saw a humpback whale and some orcas which was a highlight!

A terrific fishing expedition! Chris was a wonderful guide and we all had such a great time. He was incredibly patient and kind in helping the novices learn the ropes. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and he was very knowledgeable about the area’s ecosystem. We will definitely return.

Chris is the man. Very good knowledge, very encouraging and does whatever he can to make sure you have a good day and good fishing results (which we had). People with limited fishing experience should feel good booking with Chris. He was really good at handling all the skill levels on the boat over the 2 days I spent. And good conversation. Wonderful! At our request, Chris combined fishing and whale watching with us. It was a breathtaking day. We caught as much salmon as we wanted and saw at least 30 whales, as well as sea lions and the wonderful natural surroundings. With Chris as our host, we had a lot of fun and interesting conversations. Highly recommended. Thanks Chris.
