Arrivés on top, vous encaisserez l'immensité des Coast Mountains et un sentiment de liberté indescriptible; gracieuseté des sommets du mainland! Had a cool experience with the 20 minute discovery tour today celebrating our first anniversary. Our pilot, Lukas Rae, had a great positive energy and was easily approachable. He provided a super gentle ride, which my girlfriend appreciated (I personally would have loved some crazy death-defying stuff but maybe another time).
Seeing some of the cool photos people have shared for up on mountains and remote kayak spots is inspiring. 49 North Helicopters should post these kinds of photos around their building to market those kinds of tours better.

A truly incredible experience. We originally had a tour booked in Whistler and due to bad weather it was cancelled. When we looked for alternative locations 49 North Helicopters came up and did not disappoint! I am uncomfortable with heights but found the pilots’ (Isaiah) confidence and control very comforting. The views were unlike anything I’ve experienced before, and the landing on the mountain top was a bucket list experience. I highly recommend this experience to anyone travelling in the area.

We are incredibly grateful to 49 North Helicopters, Isaiah and Alice for the amazing experience they helped create. Their assistance in making my husband’s birthday so special was greatly appreciated, and the Comox Glacier flight tour was the perfect way to celebrate. We had such a wonderful experience and Isaiah was an excellent tour guide with his wealth of knowledge. He was engaging and his great sense humor really made the experience enjoyable and informative for us. Thank you 49 North for everything! 10/10 - definitely would recommend!

Almost two years later and my husband and I still think about how epic our elopement through 49 North was. People are always so excited to hear about what we did and see the photos (shoutout to Erin Wallis Photography!). Our Officiant that they organized was also awesome. 49 North - specifically Bastian - was so fun and did a great job of flying, landing, and explaining safety around the helicopter. So if you’re worried about flying like me - you’ll be fine! I HIGHLY recommend if you’re considering eloping or even just want to go for a fun tour on a helicopter to do it with 49 North!

Three friends and I booked an afternoon heli-kayaking tour to celebrate my milestone birthday. Working with the staff to book the tour was smooth as silk, even considering the four of us each booked our own seats individually.

On our arrival, we were provided an overview of what to expect, and got the necessary training for the flight and disembarking.

The flight to the location was as smooth as any flight I've been on, with one outstanding view after another. Our pilot Bastian was able to provide commentary as we flew over the islands

Once at the kayaking site, we were greeted by an amazing location to do some kayaking. The kayaks were readied by Isaiah (the second pilot) and Eliot (our guide), and we were soon off kayaking glacier blue waters.

We were in no hurry, so we explored the unnamed lake at a very leisurely pace, exploring nooks and crannies and marveling at the views.

We stopped at an accessible spot on the shore and did a few minutes of exploring on foot, getting different perspectives of the site.

After what seemed a way too short paddle, we stowed the equipment for the flight back to base. Bastian outdid himself and provided an even better flight back, with more spectacular views.

Our trip was one we will remember for a very long time. The staff and crew were exceptional, and we only wish we had more time.

My fiancée and I recently flew with 49 on the West Coast Glaciers Tour, followed by lunch, and it was an exhilarating experience! We had the pleasure of flying with Isaiah, who was not only a professional and talented pilot but also an excellent host throughout the trip. We flew North of Vancouver, taking in picturesque lakes, glaciers, and stunning views. The highlight of our journey was getting engaged at the summit of a glacier mountain, and Isaiah was kind enough to capture the moment for us. I highly recommend!
